We just got back from the Houston Symphony. The Houston Symphony Pops concert series was doing an evening of "Star Wars and More" - all John Williams music. We gave tickets to the kids as part of their Christmas present. The kids were excited about going. It's a great way to interest the kids in the symphony without being too boring. The had a local Star Wars fan club appear dressed as jedi's and storm troopers, plus an appearance by R2D2.

I agree with your family. I really enjoy his music too. Glad you had a nice time. Sounds like a fun evening.

Oh my word what a horrible day. I am so ready for summer and this trip and it is still months away. I swear if i didn't know better time was standing still instead of moving forward. I hate February it is way to long.

I agree. How can such a short month be sooooo lonnnnnng???? I think it's all this rotten weather we've had. Although it was over 50 degrees today. I could almost smell spring

WE HAD 65 DEGREES TODAY! So I went to school in capris.......

We've had crazy weather! It has been unseasonably warm.....60s. But, today the wind arrived. It was up to 50 mph at one point! It was crazy! Then the rain came which made it even worse!!!

It got worse last night and at about 10 p.m. we lost our electricity. That is the first time I can remember losing power in the 11 years we have lived in this house! I was off for a little over an hour. Today when I drove Mallory to gymnastics in the next town about 10 miles away I saw two extremely large trees completely uprooted!!!

Matt and I have both been sick. He finally went back to school today. Yesterday my dog had some kind of seizure/stroke. He is currently in the animal hospital and he can't walk. He looks so sad lying there. The neurologist is going to evaluate him today.
