We want snow too. I just started back to school and want a snow day already. It's as exciting as an adult as it was when I was a kid. Yippee.......

Ever since I retired (at a VERY YOUNG AGE, I'll have you know! ) I get excited about the snow forecast too. Knowing I don't need to leave the house is exciting.

Kutztown is expecting snow, then the nasty sleet and freezing rain, ending early Wed. morning, starting tomorrow afternoon. I'm sort of hoping our school district is smart enough to send the kids home after they have their half-day in...then maybe Wed. a two-hour delay. Wednesday I do have a substitute job at the high school so I'm sortof hoping we go to school, even if it is late (my "sub" jobs are going towards the cruise $$$$$$)

I'm a weather 'freak'....have every weather website bookmarked that I can find.....oh, boy, I left myself wide open with that one, didn't I? (freak!)

I'm with you about the weather. This is why I'm online now is to check it. It looks like ice instead of snow. That's tricky to deal with.

Sadly here in MD the kids no longer get credit for half-days. They now count the hours they miss.

We only get 4 snow days and we've already used one. It is supposed to start as snow here and then change to a freezing mix by morning. Yuck!

We get a week off in February (this is relatively new - maybe 5 or 6 years - because of the cost of heating oil). Then the week before Easter (this year - usually it's later or earlier than Easter).

No snow!!! There's a reason I moved south!!! - Still, I complain when we get snow once every 4 years!!!

Busy Busy Busy week - All activities resumed, science projects to finish, and final exams are next week Add in a basketball tournament this weekend, one set of grandparents leaving and another flying in and I'm ready for a vacation!!!

Worked Monday and got today off for ice. It wasn't THAT bad, but at least everyone was safe and sound! I prefer delay days so we don't have to make them up!

We only got rain mostly, but there is a light coating of ice on the trees. They glisten under the street lights though. I hope this isn't another winter without snow. Enjoy!

it was 36 this morning, I won't tell you the rest of the forecast

Mike jammed his finger last night at basketball practice and he has a game today with a very swollen finger - should be interesting. Surprisingly, his first jammed finger in 7 years of basketball.

Just checking in. Been real busy here but were thinking of all of you as DH got approval for this year's vacation. We're staying the Thurs. and Fri before the cruise at SSR and booked the Magical Express to the port. Even though it is expensive, it beats having to rent a car, etc. Now that the New Year is here, we have to think about maybe meeting the night before the cruise, for anyone staying in WDW. How exciting!!!!
