I'm at work waiting for students to show up. I'm an academic coach at the community college on Tuesday nights. It's run like a game show. No planning for me. I just wait until someone pops in with a question/problem. The time goes by quickly...........when I have students. Summer is light.

If he does, can our children go stay with him in the Cat 1? There's plenty of room, and I'm tired of fetching the pillows that fall off the bunk in the middle of the night.

And I nixed the Cat 4 to justify the spray tan that I'm going to need before we go on the cruise. I'll probably still be over budget after they get my winter glow under control.

In 2004, I had the best time in the laundry room. I met a dad from England that was doing b2b cruises (it also turned into 14+ days cruise due to a hurricane), so he had to do laundry. Everytime he put money into the machine for change, he would yell "I won again! I love this machine!" He was a hoot. Also, there were two ladies in their 60s also from England that were very nice to talk. My DH wondered why it was taking me so long to do laundry.

Last cruise I had a long discussion in the laundry room with with Alfred and Seymour the performers. DH always wants to know what took so long and how I find the things out that I do by doing laundry. See you in the LR!

GOOD GRIEF!!!

I've only been gone 4 days and you guys have gone like 15 pages!!!! I'm out of breath just trying to keep up! (Of course the dial-up internet connection at my Grandmother's house helped me keep pace! )

Hi new folks! Welcome!

We are a fun bunch! I hope I have enough energy to keep up with everyone. I am already sick of living out of a suitcase and we're not even half-way done!

Speaking of suitcases, I wasn't quite as good as I had hoped to be. Managed to downsize from the 9 we left Burkina with to 4 plus the car seats. I had a duffle in one of the 4 for extra stuff we pick up along the way. Unfortunately, the car seats (boosters really) wouldn't fit in one of the 4 so I had to pull out the duffle and make it the car seat bag.

Good news - domestic airlines are counting our ticket as an international ticket, so not charging for checked bags. Bad news - I COULD HAVE HAD ANOTHER SUITCASE!!!!!!!

More bad news - still struggling to finish my FE gifts. Looks like I might have to resort to plan B and make some less personalized. Sorry in advance guys - I just took on waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much. Well, better get back to FEs. DH is taking a nap, so I snuck onto the computer. I'm afraid to see our internet bill - grandma doesn't have anything but pay-as-you-go dial-up. (Folks - it was faster in Burkina!!!!!) But tomorrow, we'll be in TX - good o'l San Antone... with more modern connectivity, so I can keep up on the boards, finish FEs, and DH can do our door signs!

Welcome to Texas!!!! The weather should be more like you were used to in Burkina, albeit a bit cooler - you missed the triple digit temps last week.
