July 18 2009 Tortola - Part 2!

I don't like the tap water, but we run up to 9 and fill up big cups and water bottles from the dispensers up there. We bring on water bottles for everyone and have never really needed to buy water when we do it this way.

I can e-mail you my packing list spreadsheet if you want it. I'm sure my husband will comment on that spreadsheet after many cruises and many red check marks in the columns. :rotfl2: I usually bring two skirts, two dresses and a pair of black dress pants, and can mix and match for all occasions.

Wasn't part of our Castaway Club package several water bottle with coozies last time we went? I can't remember, but I think I remember grumbling when I had to hand wash those a while back.

And I like your spreadsheet and your knack for remembering everything! It's one of the many reasons why I love you, as well as know which drawer my underwear is stored in. :)

I did have to do some laundry last time because of the parks. However, after this weekend I am convinced I will not need to do DS's. Apparently I forgot his underwear. 4 days. He never told me until we were on the way home. :lmao:

I figure DD is good as long as she has some sweats and bathing suits. My kids are away at camp next week, then I have a weekend away for a wedding with hubby, and then the cruise. I have 4 suitcases spread out with various items in each. I know I am going to forget something somewhere.

get over it - it's your job:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::rolleyes1:hug:

:rolleyes1

To be fair, I'm also trying to paint the study and get ready for a garage sale all at the same time. But it probably won't float as much of an argument since they were all my stupid idea. In retrospect, I probably should've just done laundry. :)

Wow - just thought I'd do a fake reservation and check out our cruise... this is all I am showing available (2 adults, 1 child)...

Category 08
Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom $ 6,692.24

Category 09
Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom $ 6,432.24

Category 10
Deluxe Inside Stateroom $ 5,912.24

Category 11
Standard Inside Stateroom $ 5,632.24

Category 12
Standard Inside Stateroom $ 5,032.24

That's funny that that is all that is showing up for you. I just did one using three adults and it showed every cat except the suites which it never shows.

We will do laundry at WDW before the cruise and after but not on the ship. When packing we try to make sure everybody has enough of everything for at least 9 days. Of course my packing list is 5 pages long and very detailed so that nobody has the excuse to forget something and we usually don't.

Training is over tomorrow is the day where everything switches. Hopefully all will go smoothly.

I looked about a week ago and they were showing Cat 4-Cat 12. They must have upgraded people to fill the upper categories.

At least Disney isn't rolling out their new ships this year and next. People just aren't vacationing this year like prior years. It has to be surprising to them that they have empty rooms on summer cruises.

And the only thing showing up for me (2 adults, 2 kids) is a Cat 4:

7-NIGHT EASTERN CARIBBEAN CRUISE WITH TORTOLA
July 18-25, 2009
(Ship: Disney Magic)
Stateroom: 2 Adults and 2 Children (Ages 6 and 9)

Cruise Price: $ 4,824.32

You're not planning on bringing your other family are you? Because I'm not fighting with your other husband for a spot at Palo.

Too funny! I did a rate check the other day as well and was amazed at what I got. The prices were incredibly HIGH!!
