If you have a stateroom listed on the DCL site, is it fair to assume that's your stateroom even if you had a GTY just a few hours earlier?

If so, I'm a little shocked, but we were upgraded from a cat 6 to a cat 4! We've never been upgraded before, but I had my finger crossed after I saw that there were no more cat 6es to book as of this afternoon!

I'm a little hesitant, though, because it shows:

Category 06: Deluxe Stateroom w/ Verandah

8576 is definitely a cat 4, though. Hmmmmm.

My DH called me at 10:30 PM to tell me everything was going great in NM. They were in a bus on their way to a community college gym (in NM I think) for the night. He doesn't have his CPAP machine, this could get ugly. They will get up at 5:30 AM (those who could sleep through the noise), have breakfast, and be dropped off at the beginning of the trail. They saw snow when they visited some mountain. DH said it was in the 30s on that mountain. Brrrrr..... Getting that call was like the best Christmas present. I doubt I will hear from them again. It is going to be a long two weeks. I hope everything goes well. Fifty-four miles of fun.

Started cleaning the house. It smells so good. Only a little bit more to do. It should stay clean for the next two weeks. Nice. Maybe I'll buy some flowers for the house? I already reserved another cruise for next summer. Leave me alone will he! HA!

Hey... did you get any rain? We got 25 (counted them = 25!!!!) drops yesterday, and this evening, we got 5 full minutes....

Maybe this is one of the perks you get when you win Who Wants To Be A Mousketeer twice in a row. They probably keep track of that in the computer somewhere.

WOW! I finally caught up. Take a three day trip and you really get behind. Only 15 days and we head to Disney!!!!!!!!!!!

It's freaky who little time we have left to get ready. My wife all gleefully told me that it was time to start getting things together and start doing some preliminary packing, and I laughed until she told me the number of days we had. I'm probably more excited about this cruise than any of the Disney cruises from before, but I blame part of that on a really bad Carnival Cruise we had previously. It had some of the greatest ports I've ever been to, but the cruise itself was a train wreck.

Well, I'm no expert, but that looks promising to me! Why don't you give DCL a call just to verify? Oh, and I think you should go buy a lottery ticket today, too!

BTW, I have a DD9 hoping to make friends on the cruise . . . we'll keep an eye out for you at the sailaway party!

Will we be able to take a group picture on Sunday at Studio Sea? This is our second DC, but first DIS group ~ and I think we are all going to have a fantastic cruise!!

Shirley (Dizzyworld) took pictures of our cruise meet on our last cruise (I think they are posted here somewhere) and I love looking back at them. We had a blast, and really got to know a few people. In fact, part of the reason for choosing this sailing, besides Tortola, was Dizzy's DD and my DD had so much fun together, adn kept in touch with each other afterwards. They also met anouther girl - DD was trying to convince her to go on this oen too for a reunion!!

I think it will be even more fun this time because last cruise was a 4 day douple dip which left VERY little on board time. It was my biggest complaint. So this time, i am taking full advantage of ship time!!

Worked on the FE gifts last night. SO we are now at close off right? Noahsmom - is the front page list updated and correct now?

How many are doing the gift basket? I am deciding.

We have an SLR that takes fantastic pictures, so we'd love to take a few group shots and then share them post-cruise through the board/e-mail, if everyone is up for it. Note to self: add tripod to packing list.

I always have the small tripod packed in the camera pack, which will probably do the trick if we're around tables and wot-not. If you want to play it safe, though, packing the larger one shouldn't be a problem. Just remind me, and I'll make sure it's all together.

I will do a final update on post #1 tonight when I get home. I have received all stateroom numbers so the list should be complete. I'd do it now but my spreadsheet is on my home laptop. Also, I will send the completed spreadsheet to all that have pm'd me for it. If there are any changes/updates let me know and I'll keep track of those. Of course, stateroom numbers may change upon check-in (some are trying to upgrade at the port). So don't start distribution until after our meet on Sunday!

I want to do the gift bag. My issue is that cheese would be a natural addition to our bag but I need to keep it cool for a week prior to the cruise. I'd love to cheese curds but those really are best fresh and a week is not fresh. A chunk of cheddar should work just fine. Probably a cow pie or two also.

Did we say we would wear a name tag with our usernames? How about if I bring nametags and markers for people to fill out when we meet? I would be happy to do that..........

I do have that information on my spreadsheet - do you want that included? I used it to keep track of what I was doing. Now I've shipped some of my gifts and I didn't write down how many I put in the box. Hope there's enough!!
