Just watched the news.... Ed... Farah.... Michael.... some heavy names have gone from us this week....

Hold on wait a minute...I am at the Mayo Clinic and totally out of touch since am staying with my Uncle and he doesn't have a TV...I heard about Farah and Michael but Ed? Ed who? Jonny's Ed?

Hope everyone is having a good night. It's been a tough one around here - both boys got into trouble at day camp. Of course none if it was their fault - or - they didn't do it. Guess which one we're buying

I got your message.....am going home on Monday (WOOT!) But get to fly to Reno on Sat and spend the weekend with my family in Tahoe...they have been on that annual family vacation without me
so will send the cabin number Mon or Tues. Children: DD16, DS13, DS11, DS9
I know I know I should have that cabin number memorized...all i know is it is 8something. I guess I better get started on that FE! Anyone out there willing to sell one?

Dejavu (OMG - that spelling is a joke, isn't it)...watching a performance of Hair on Good Morning america, and Michael Jackson, gone. I was NOT a big fan of Michael Jackson, until I started watching all these tributes, and never realized how many songs I DID love...old songs, Thriller, Ben, and that song where he gathered all those stars and sang a tribute to the children of the world.....I LOVED that number. Am I showing my age again????? AND, to add to this, I LOVED Charlie's Angels....weird week, wasn't it?

Enjoyed MJ's music mostly Thriller and especially The Jacksons/Jackson 5. Regardless of his actions, the man had a huge influence on music. His Thriller videos just exploded the (then) new music video industry. Although, Weird Al Yanovich's parodies of his music and videos are still by far my favorite!

I'm feeling nostalgic today about MJ...........I was a HUGE fan for his early years thru "We Are the World".........so sorry he didn't record for most of the last 10 years and so sad his scheduled concerts aren't going to happen.........food for thought, if there's still someone who you want to see........BUY THE TIX!!

Unpack and check on room

No wonder I'm stressed out! Does anyone know where our old packing lists ended up? I'd love to look it over now..........

Has anyone else gotten a call today from DCL saying the Day at the Baths Excursion was cancelled? They are replacing it with the Tour of the Virgin Gorda tour. Two times 7:45 and 12:45 one too early and the other too late due to the heat. Anyone doing the Baths on the own? Did you have to prebook it? Thanks for any help.

No call yet. I wonder what happened? Hopefully some DISers on the Magic this week can inform us. I think I'll check my cruise plans.

We are thinking of doing the Baths on our own. From what I read, it seems fairly easy to get to the ferry, go to VG, and return back to Tortola. Since we are the only ship in town that day. The Baths shouldn't be as crazy with people. Hmmmmm.....

Started my new job today. It was weird being in the classroom while the teacher that is leaving is still there. Because these kids will be going on to Kindergarten I've only have 6 with two of those being special needs. Of course those two have both physical and mental needs so two is like having 6 typical kids.

Went over our packing list for some reason it is 5 pages long I keep thinking we don't need all of this stuff but if i don't pack and we do need it I'll be the one in trouble.

Still got to call Shirley about baskets I seem to be procrastinating with this trip for some reason.

So they canceled the one with lunch only, correct?

Dang I was hoping to a quiet piece of the island.

Yes, but this one includes a short tour so less time at the Baths. I think doing it on your own is the way to go now. The Tour excursions are at 7:45 and 12:45 (not sure of the exact time of the afternoon one but close to that) I think the Baths will be much less crowded than before except for 1 - 2 hours after 9:00 and after 1:30.

I wish I could figure out how to do the catamaran that others have mentioned. Everything I can find looks more like a charter with a certain amount of guests necessary.
