I'm working on packing more stuff and getting DS's stuff together. We're going to try to get everything in 2 suitcases (I'm not counting on it). This time in 3 weeks we will have finished breakfast and be jumping up and down waiting to get to the port.

For the past few weeks we have been doing what will we be doing this time in xxx weeks. In 3 weeks at 12:00 we will be boarding the ship, at 4:00 we will be at lifeboat drill, at 4:30 we will be at the sailaway party, at 5:00 the horn will blow....

We do the same thing... last Saturday afternoon, we listened to the YouTube Disney horns for about 15 minutes!! It almost made me cry!! We are so lucky to be doing this with our kids....

Dh ordered tuxedos for himself and DS last night but I just found out that DS needs new black shoes so we are going to go looking for them today.

www.cruiselineformal.com. They say the cutoff is 2 weeks before sailing. We decided to amend the order and get shoes for DS. This way I can just order band shoes for him when band camp starts.

I just found that website... thanks! We need to decide today I guess... it sounds like we can decide up to a week prior since we are sailing out of PC. I am nervous about it, because DH is 6'7" and I can see the pants being too short.. jacket not fitting etc! I will make sure he has white socks to wear! HA HA

Got to take my formal dress to be altered it is way to long and a little bit to big. I can't believe I'm up this early on a Saturday. I guess it is the excitement building of vacation being close and all of our errands today are vacation related.

I think we are finally finished gathering things for my DH and DD's big hiking trip. Now they need to finsih packing. I like their camping trips since they don't require me to be responsible for anything. I am so sad. My Dh and I have never been apart this long.

My DD comes home from Cape May later today. Maybe we'll go shopping for a new snorkle? She wants one like my DS that allows him to dive without water getting into it.

The house is very quiet this morning. I'm hoping to get a lot done on the FE gifts today. I just need to finsh the things. I can't imagine how much space they are going to take up in the suitcase. And I hope to finish the door signs. Every cruise I say I'm not going to make more than one or two new ones, but I find things I want to do. Then after the cruise the decorate the inside of the doors of our house. They are nice reminders of vacations together.

My DB & Dnephew were just here for a visit. Dnephew will be celebrating his birthday on the 19th so we won't be able to be there. I had to promise to listen to this song that day and think of him. It's been put into my ipod.

Thanks for posting. The menus don't look as scary as I thought they would. Since I'm highly allergic to shellfish, I need to be a little careful.

I just went and bought more memory cards for my camera. I'm sure I have more than I'll need but could you imagine running out of memory half way through vacation!

Bought a new dishwasher this morning, it will be delivered on the 2nd so that will be taken care of before we leave. The big fireworks in our area was scheduled for tonight but has now been postponed until tomorrow night due to storms. They say this is the biggest fireworks display in the midwest. It is pretty cool, a couple hundred thousand people come to see it. Traffic after is HORRIBLE! One year it took us over an hour to go 1/2 mile. We weren't planning on going this year, Noah had some issues at day camp this week and part of his punishment was that he had to chose between the new terminator movie or the fireworks. He chose the movie, they are at it now. I'm alone for a couple of hours

cruiselineformal.com really gives you extensive measurements to take. I would think if they can't fit your DH they will tell yoy. BTW they have a Sloooooooooooooow server. you may want to be patient or call them on Monday.Good luck!

Hey, I just spent the day in Manawalcan? at a soccer tournament, is that near you?? Regarding seasickness, I am the worst but have never been sick on DCL, and the worst could be the sea days heading out but maybe not in July, so worries!!

I'm praying i don't get sick on this cruise. I spent the majority of our Christmas cruise sick and wanting off. It didn't end when we got off I still felt the motion. I used the patch and took other stuff and nothing worked. I'm praying for a smooth cruise.


Are we doing a group pic at our meet on Sun? We did one at Christmas and it turned out really well. We were all in our shirts and several people though we were one large family.
