I went through the whole day today thinking it was Friday. It was not until i told another teacher goodbye and said see you on Tuesday that I realized I was wrong. There is still one more day to this never ending week.

I want to do gift baskets for mom and Matt from Shirley. Besides their favorite drinks and snacks I can't think of anything else to put in them. Anybody got any suggestions?

Definition of a long term project: Parents at Wal-Mart at 3am, buying the poster board for the poster that is due at 8am, but assigned 6 weeks ago.

i can't tell you how many times the Williams family have experienced this....

Lissa, Have you asked Shirley for any suggestions? She often has some ideas that we don't think about because she's just done one with something new or she has a limited supply of a certain item.

I just sent her an e-mail about the girls' basket.

Thanks for the ideas! I haven't emailed Shirley yet as I was trying to decide on a few things but i will definitely do that tomorrow. Right now I'm trying to get my self to relax and let go of the days events. We had our normal amount of meltdowns and bug eating events but this afternoon we had to send a child to the hospital due to a teachers carelessness. The child was supposed to be in the special needs swing but was placed in a regular swing. As i was coming back from my break I watched that child come flying off the swing and land face first on concrete. I'm still waiting to hear how the child is. Right now i'm going to go take along walk.

The more I think about it, the more it seems to make sense to try to get a charter together for the day. That way, I could hit the Baths from the water and maybe Soggy dollar for a little bit and then return on my own timetable.

Anyone ever chartered for a day? My boss has chartered a boat for the week, but the person she used does not do day charters.
