Hey everyone!
Can not believe that ti is may already where did April go. We will definitely buy shirts even my brother likes the logo and that is unusual for him. Went back to work on Wednesday. Wasn't sure I would make it but i did. One more set of lab work to be done next Saturday and hopefully everything will come back ni the clear. My Dr's did clear this trip though. I was afraid they wouldn't since everything is still all messed up and we have no idea what is causing the problems.

The Travel Channel Disney Cruise Line show is available via iTunes!!! I had no idea! I'm trying to download it now - only 10 hours to go due to my wonderfully slow internet connection.

Unfortunately, the drydock show isn't on iTunes, so if anyone recorded it and would be willing to send me the DVD I'd be forever grateful!!!

Matt is taking the SAT's today. Now we'll see if University of Central Florida is a possibility.

We have DD Sam taking the SAT today as well.... then tonight is Prom! Busy day at our house... a very early Saturday morning!! I think the kids were talking about the SAT test on teen thread! They kids have all really seemed to connect.

We have been w/o internet for a few days which is definitely a crisis in this house!!!

I like the shirt logo too and would like to set us up with some shirts.

I can't remember the name of the person from Shelbyville, TN, but my MIL wanted you to know that the box they occupy during the Celebration is B29. Is your box close to that? She was so psyched to know that there are walking horse fans onboard!

Lazy weekend......went shopping last night for DD9, soon to be DD10 a birthday gift. I hope she enjoys it!!! To top it off, I signed up fatphil32 up for driver's education yesterday. He will have his permit on the Tuesday before the cruise!God help us!

I think its neat the way the connected... My DD still has as awesome friend from her last cruise - in fact he is the reason we are on this cruise.

Speaking of proms - I get to go NEXT Saturday.. its the one perk of being a high school teacher.. I LOVE going and seeing all the kids dressed up and getting ready to fly the coop of the high school halls. They all seem so different on that night. I hope your daughter has the best time tonight. Please PM a picture.

I hope the state comes through because I have applied for summer school aswell. I am hoping for middle school math right after school ends because it is 80 hours as opposed to elementary school which is 40 hours and the two weeks right after the cruise.

DD had Relay for Life on the college track last night, all night. It was very touching to hear peoples stories and see how they have overcome. The special part was that it rained most of the day and stopped just before the start and didn't start again until we were cleaning up at 5:00 AM this morning. I'm getting too old for this Ran into several other DVC members. Isn't it funny how we find each other?

This is Charleen from Shelbyville. Our box is k167. We have been there for years. We really love the walking horses. Don't own any but I have ridden a few in the past. Still can't wait to meet you all!!!

So far, no one is saying what is going to happen. TEA did not make us make up the time from IKE, so I'm not sure what they are going to do... So far there is only one high school, but several junior high and elementary, but less then 10 schools in the area...

Our district missed 12 school days from Ike, the TEA excused a portion of those days - I think 5. We made up the rest of the days by taking away MLK day, 1/2 days and teacher institutes, plus we had 1 bad weather day (scheduled on a "minor" holiday) left on the calendar. That left us extending the school calendar by one day. Rumor has it that if any schools close due to the flu, the state will not force the schools to make up the days. That's only a rumor...

The last I heard and I haven't checked the news, there is only two public school districts in Texas which shut down all their schools due to flu. Because only affected schools are closing may be a factor in not requiring the schools to make up the time.

Good Morning All!

It's warm and humid today. It doesn't help the air conditioner quit working yesterday. At least it's not July.

Go figure, John had a bunch of bread dough rising ready to bake yesterday afternoon, too.
