WOW...I had lots to read once I got home tonight. Easy night at school, only 5 students. Then there was nobody, so I came home 45 min. early.

We got my DD's phone fixed. They were able to save her numbers. Yippeee. It took forever to get to the front of the line. Where was the Fast Pass?

Got a call from a scout mom. Her husband, who is on the trip with my family, called her tonight. The news was that the crew is happy, healthy, and having a great time. It was good to hear that. I'll take any updates. We're just over the midpoint hump. even though I miss them like crazy, I love this clean, uncluttered house bit.

Oh............where do I sign up for the Cat. 2 tour? I've only seen a Cat. 3. Do I need a housewarming gift?

However, about two years ago, 2 children that were hanging out my DS. They told their Dad they were bored. The Dad jokingly told them to go see if they can get a tour of the Walt Suite............and so they did. My DS came back to our room and happily bragged that he had seen a part of the ship that I hadn't gotten to see. Then he told me how they just rang the doorbell, and asked for a tour of the suite. The family invited them in for a quick tour. You can only imagine the conversation I had with our DS about going along with this adventure. Good grief. :confused3

This East Coast thing is killing me with the pirates!!! I spend all afternoon lurking about waiting for a race, and it always kicks off just after I go to sleep. You people are so cruel. :)

You need ramule's alarm system..........maybe today.........

Yeah, but its $25.00 an hour to teach summer school, or TOP of your regular pay..... so 7 hours a day, times 26 days, times $25 an hour = 1 Disney Cruise

I like that way of thinking. Of course, this is way I work VACATION:banana:

Still working on the FEs... DM wonders why all this craziness! :confused3

Wish I had some pixiedust: to show her. It's just Magical, Mom!!!! :wizard:

But, try as I might everyone's FE is not going to be the same. Sorry - I'm just not going to make it to 39. :sad1: They will be similar, just not all handmade....:guilty:

Sorry.

We had to make them? :scared1: I'm giving the pieces and each cabin has to assemble theirs.

That is just crazy!! Who would pay a $375 yearly fee? :scared1:

Evidently some do! :confused3

Congratulations on the pirate:

When my DD was 12, she was invited to one of the suites as a sleepover on the first night of the cruise after meeting some girls in the kids club!

Oh my! You guys are cranking out posts early! I am still on cup of coffee #1!!
Still need to get my act together. I want to have a garage sale on Friday to pull in some "tip money" for the cruise. DS12 and DD10 have been working on "their part" for a month and a half. I, on the other hand, need to get busy! Like I have been sitting around. Made 9 runs yesterday with the kids to and fro!:scared1:

DH (Mr. Redlegs) has kicked into "psyched" mode! He is reading me room reviews, threads, etc.:cool1:I like this mode!!:cutie: It also is important to note that he was having a full texting conversation with a fellow DISer last night!:rolleyes1: Wonder what that was all about???:surfweb:

I've been in this mode for a few days, now, too. Because we're Florida residents, we rarely make vacations until last minute when the resident rates are given out, which typically doesn't give us a whole lot of workup before we're already in, "OH NO! WE GOTTA PACK!" mode. On top of that, I've never really jumped on the boards before a cruise because there's so little time. I'm glad I did this time around! :)

Ooooh . . . we've been in two Cat 3 soirees, but I've never seen a Cat 2. :worship: If you see a middle aged blonde woman peeking in your door, just ignore me, I mean her.

Soooo, if I pop on a blonde wig to cover my dark curls, it'll be YOU . . . er, I mean YOUR BLONDE FRIEND who'll get the blame for peeking in the door, right? Sounds like I'm onto something here!

Poor Virgil's gonna have a bevy of middle aged babes peeking in the door of his Cat 2!

VIRGIL, ARE YOU READY???

Jamie

I am in for the Suite tour as well!!!! I would lvoe to see it. So happy hour in the Suite? :lmao:

You all sure got busy last night!!

REALLY??!!?! I'm so enamored with Africa that you could stick a rock from your driveway in there and I'd love it! :woohoo:

Hmmmm...There's an idea! :rolleyes1 (But probably too heavy. :lmao:)

Oooh! How exciting!

Are you from the States originally or from Africa?

My DH is from VA. I'm an AF Brat, but am now a VA resident. We work for the State Department in our Embassies overseas. Just finished up three years in Burkina Faso and on our way to Uganda. :thumbsup2

100 posts?

I think you go to Mouseketeer first around 100. Then at 500 you hit DIS Veteran.

I was in the AF for 6 years, but my job positions were confined to only the rare overseas bases (Australia and Greenland were really the only two). In the end I spent a year and a half in remote Alaska (which was my nightmare until I got there, and then I fell in love with it) and four and a half at Cape Cod, MA (where I met my lovely wife!). I wish I'd got to see more of the world, but I have no complaints. I'm just going to make Marcy take me, now. :)
