We are now exactly 9 days away from leaving for Barcelona can't believe it is that close. We are spending the night of the 17th at the Grand Marina hotel. We chose it 'cause it is so close to the port that you can see the Magic from your room.

Cindy we do need to figure out how to recognize each other at the airport.

I think the night before the cruise we are going to check out the magic fountain. After reading about it online it soundsvery similiar to the one at EPCOT and we love that fountain. I think you can take the blue line of the tourist bus to get to it. It is not exactly on that route but a very close walk.

Yay we are next! Today I am going to help CarolAnnC (aka mom) with her packing and choosing of outfits lol because it is her last full weekend to get ready before flying out. I, on the other hand, have some time to keep shopping and pack later this coming week, so I should make myself useful!

I bought some Tide mini sink packs to bring with me. I'm worried about going to do laundry and having to wait hours because they are so backed up. These Tide packs are great especially if you spill something and need to wash it right away, you can do it there in your stateroom! I picked them up at Walmart if anyone is interested in finding them.

Speaking of Shaun's birthday on the 23rd, is anyone else in our group celebrating a birthday, anniversary, etc., while on board?

Hey, Hey,Hey! I think there are a lot of celebrations occuring. I remember someone else saying that there was an anniversary coming up. I also will celebrate a birthday on July 25th! I hate to mention how old, so I will say, as old as I feel Anyway.....anyone else ????

Zachary wanted me to find out if anyone on our thread plays VMK (Virtual Magic Kingdom). He's been playing since the Beta days, nearly just over 2 years now, as has Nathan.

So, any VMKers? I play very occasionally myself, but mostly just to keep track of what's going on in the world of the Virtual Magic Kingdom.

Me and my 3 daughters, 17,15 and 11 - my sister, brother-in-law and niece, 5 and my mom and dad and niece, 22. We are very excited and would love to talk with other cruisers. I love the idea of the door magnets and sent my 17 year old to go and get the mickey paint chips today. My 11 year old is going to design the pictures for us.

We are flying from Las Vegas to Phil then to Barcelona arrriving the day of the cruise. This is our first Disney cruise , so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We are so excited!!!

My husband is staying home to care for the animals. We will miss him, but hope to have a great time. The girls are extremely excited and will also be happy to hear of other teens.

Doesn't the plastic page protectors just make it SPECIAL..
I LOVE MY BINDER... If you see someone desperatly clutching it in the airport or port.. it's me..

Yes it does make it special! Then I have a nice memory book to add to after the cruise!

I use a passporter instead of a binder. I've got the space in the back to store all my info and to write out what we are doing and when. In the front I have a guide book. I love it I have one for each trip we take and it goes in a backpack with us everywhere.

Hey - did you guys realize that we're NEXT?!!!!! Yep, that's right - we are next to board the Magic because today is the day that the 07-07-07'ers are sailing away. And with the six hour time difference, they are sitting down for dinner right now (it's noon here). WOWIE WOW WOW - we're NEXT!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome Ariel 39! We are traveling with our 6 and 4 year olds as well as with some of our extended familily who have kids ages 13 and 7. It is going to be a blast! We are arriving the day of the cruise as well. One tip I thought I would pass on that you may already know is to pack your swimsuits in a day bag since you luggage won't be delivered to your stateroom until later in the day. What time are you arriving in? We are arriving at 11:05 on Wednesday. Hope to see you at the meet.

Ariel - that's so cool! yep, we're in 6116 which we think is a cool number (backwards and forwards, it's the same).

OK, last post tonight for me. I asked our TA about emergency contact info to leave at home for DCL - here's what she gave me:

DCL gave me two numbers, so if one doesn't work, try the other one: 888-322-8732 or 732-335-3281

Just thought I'd pass that along. I got our emergency contact / itinerary stuff done today and sent out to family members, etc. who need it.

We also got the majority of the packing done, so we just have a few odds and ends and the boys' pants they wear to church tomorrow and that should be it. I wanted to have it all done as much as possible this weekend so that on Friday we'll just toss in whatever we still have left and it won't be a big deal. We've divided clothing among multiple bags, have one bag specifically for Barcelona so we don't have to open all the other ones, and believe it or not, we have it all in just 5 bags -- two bigger suitcases, two small ones (carry-on size), and then my pride-and-joy $1.50 find from Goodwill about 6 years ago. The boys do still need to get their stuff together for taking on the plane, though, and that could be a nightmare (hee hee). I have the suitcases all stacked in the living room - the nice thing is it gives the clothes a chance to 'settle' and thus make more room if I needed it - and the children are under threat of Mom's wrath should they even consider looking at, touching or opening any of the suitcases. Or at least be at risk of arriving in Spain without any clean underwear

Welcome to all our new cruisers! It's exciting to see more joining our group before we cruise.

Well, I just finished my door magnets. Got the laundry done. Got my packing all laid out and just about done with that. Tomorrow morning I'll work on Robert's.

Jamie (our daughter 15) will be excited that more teenagers are joining the cruise. She spends almost all of her time in the Stack unless we make her spend time with us. I'm sure she will be dragging in the mornings to get out on excursions after being up late every night.

Did some more shopping today. Bought a bunch of clothes (not that I really needed them, but it's a great excuse.

Well, about this time, exactly one week from now we will be arriving in Dublin, Ireland for our 2 days there before heading to Barcelona! Can't believe the cruise is so close.

Anyone know of a site showing these or any other exclusive merchandise? I want to prepare my visa card for the shock
