I'm sad to say that it looks like we aren't able to go on the cruise any longer. I'm trying my hardest to figure out a way. Without getting into details, our family of 4 is now a family of 3, and it's not due to a death.

He left me with a HUGE mortgage, all of the house bills, all of the costs to raise the kids.

I don't know how we can cover the cost of the cruise AND airfare AND a room. The only thing I can afford it to go to Disneyland Paris. I have passes. Whoopee. Can I squeeze the 3 of us in any of your suitcases??

Keep your fingers crossed a miracle happens.

Getting closer and closer to that final payment coming due. We've been pinching pennies so tight they are screaming!!!! I hope I don't freak out when I have to make that final payment!!!!!!!

aye, I know but I have pay all done due to good exchange money from pound to dollars last christmas but want to move Cat 9 to Cat 6 and find it was very expensive now as it went higher price. So we think we better stay at Cat 9. No verdanh

but we always go to topsider for breakfast and see the view anyway as we won't be in cabin all the times as kids love the club!

We are looking forward to and looking forward to meet you all.

Just made a BIG payment this week - used my Disney Visa card to get the REWARD points as we're going to WDW for spring break - figured I'd might as well benefit

I saw a post where some folks are already receiving "Med Packs" in the mail for the med cruises. Anyone here get one yet?

No, we didn't received a "Med Pack" yet....
We just went last weekend to DLRParis, and they are preparing everything there for the 15th anniversary. They also have a whole new collection clothes themed "Sailing"...
We're going back on 8, 9 & 10 april (easter) to the "Castle Club" in the Disneyland Hotel

We still have to make the BIG payment, but we are looking a bit to what the US dollar is doing compared with the Euro: now we have about 1,30 dollar for one euro, and everything points in the direction it's going to 1,35, even 1,40....

I cannot apply Disney visa Card because live in UK! Anyway, I used my work more card similar Visa Card and I paid all off the balance and got money back from More Card!, not bad!

My friend is going on 16th June and she got her Med Packs and so I think we will get it next month?

Got our Med Pack in the mail today - DH just called to tell me - can't wait to go home and look it over!

I finally got home and got a chance to look through the pack. I forgot that because we're Castaway Cay Members that we can book excursions, etc. at 90 days out -- so for us, that means April 19th (also date of final payment) as long as the final payment has been made by then. It also says that we can see our travel arrangements online starting June 1st!

gosh, it's getting closer and closer - Just 2 months til we can start making shore excursion reservations. FWIW, I saw in the packet that shore excursions may be cancelled up to 2 days before the cruise and after that they become non-refundable.

Our times in UK next morning!!!

Last year, I had been trying to booked palo and find it difficult times in 75 days and I try next morning and it work!! Prepare it! Keep trying on 75 days, if not, know mean tomorrow morning on May 5th?

Maybe trying at late night or midnight but I let you know as I am castaway member so I can book 90 days so I let you know what times I get it booking okay.

Well, I have now finalized my travel arrangements for my trip of a lifetime.

The players, Me (John), Wife (Ruth), Grandaughter (Meghan) & Meghan's parents.

Here they are:

My wife and I leave out of Philadelphia and fly USAir nonstop to Barcelona on July 11 - arriving on the 12th. We then fly NS from Barcelona to London the same day for our stay at the Waldorf, London until the 17th. My son & wife, along with Meghan (she was born in Spain) fly out on the 14th of July to arrive on the 15th for Barcelona. They are booked into the Barcelona Hilton for 6 nights. We leave London, fly back to Barcelona on the 17th and spend 1 night with my son, daughter-in-law and Meghan. We 3 go on the ship on the 18th. Son & Daughter-in-law stay in Barcelona as a second honeymoon until Saturday.

We leave the ship on the 28, stay in Barcelona one day and then fly back on the 29th.


Still haven't heard what cabin (GTY 6 or better) we have been assigned yet but we did get our Med pack 2 days ago so I know we are going.

We are going to have a great time.

Ours arrived today!!! It's very cute. My parents are still waiting for theirs though, so they are obviously not all being sent out together...
