We will be sailing that same time. Myself(28), husband(29), daughter(2), mom(48), dad(48), & my sister(26). This will be our third Disney cruise, and my parents and sisters first. We will be visiting WDW and Old Key West before the cruise. Looking forward to it. Can't wait!!!

Glad to finally see someone else going on too! We are spending two days at Old Key West 5 days at Vero Beach and then heading for the ship. This will also be our 3rd cruise, but our first 3 day cruise. It's me, my DD (she'll be 4), my DF and my DM.

Had to dig this thread up!! DH & I are taking our 2 DSs on this cruise to celebrate younger son turning 21 & older son graduating from college! YAY! We'll be at the Beach Club prior to sailing. This is a first cruise for the boys and the 3rd for DH & I . I'll have my lime green Mickey head on my fanny pack for sure!

Yea! I can finally post! I've been reading the boards for the past 2 weeks, since booking the July 17 cruise, but was having problems getting activated after registering. (Thank you for the help, Verandah Man!) This is our first cruise ever (DH, DS-almost 3, DD-5 months.) 15 days!!!!! I'm so thankful for FL resident rate offers. We'll be spending 2 days in Orlando (SeaWorld and shopping) before the cruise. Already looking forward to booking the 7-day Western for sometime early next year!

Welcome to the DISBOARDS and to the July 17th cruise moinab! We are leaving this Friday for WDW for 2 days and then heading for Vero Beach till cruise day!

Have a great time at WDW and Vero Beach! We have our countdown going on the dry-erase board on the refrigerator. DS asks to watch the DCL promotional video at least 6 times each day (usually 6 times in a row!) It's too bad he won't be in the club with your DD. He has a thing for older girls (LOL,) but he won't be 3 until August 31, and is not yet potty proficient. Oh well, we'll just have to make sure he's trained for the 7-day cruise we're going to book!

Brianna literally became potty trained days before our first cruise last year. The cruise was her incentive. She wanted to play with the kids! We had chains going on, but we've become lazy with taking them off This cruise was kind of a last minute cruise. It was orginally planned for next Feb., but as it goes that's conference night for my school. I guess I should be there to talk to the parents. So we had to go on a cruise before next FEb. due to using some of our DVC points. So Brianna is being spoiled for her 4th b-day!

1st time poster-hi everyone! My sons-6 & 3 and I will be on the 7/17 cruise! We'll be at Poly at WDW the 4 days before. We're celebrating DS's 7th birthday on the 18th. I'm hoping my 3 (4 in Sept) YO son will make it in the club. (I want some mommy alone time in the spa!) He's potty trained, with some accidents. I'll have him in underwear, and ask them to page me if he has an accident. I'll bring swim diapers and pullups in case he needs them (I know he can't wear them in the club-I'll have LOTS of underwear with me!!LOL)-hopefully not! It's just the boys and me-1st time cruise for us all. We're also remembering DH-his birthday is July 13th (the day we arrive in WDW)-he would of been 39. He drowned in a work related accident this past September. It's been hard for us all, so I thought WDW and DCL would help us. Thanks everyone for all your info! The boys and I are counting down the days!!!!

Holly, Welcome to the Disboards! I'm sorry to hear about your loss also. The first year is always the hardest and it has to be especially hard with little ones. I hope you enjoy your vacation! At the club, they are very good at reminding them to use the restroom. When they get there, they have to wash their hands and then between events they line up for a bathroom break. We're going to be in stateroom 2605, so if you want an adult to handout with for some of the adult stuff, just give me a call. DD loves the club, so that won't be a problem for me. See ya'll on the ship!

Thanks for the welcomes, and the thoughts! I'll be in room 6636. Give me a call if you want! Are you a teacher? I saw you mention school, before. I am one, also. I'm a computer science teacher for grades K-5, but also have been a classroom teacher for grades 2, 3, 4, 5, split 2/3, 4/5, and been a team leader for grades 6-8. Phew! Counting down until next week!! Yay! Let's meet for a drink.

Lots of teachers cruising on July 17th. I was a head start teacher until I had my daughter. Now I have a home daycare and really enjoy it. Philateech, are u from Philadelphia? Just curious because of your name. Getting close guys!! Lots of packing to do!! See ya soon!!

Holly, I'm so sorry for your loss. I was in tears this morning, reading your first post. I have a DS-almost 3 and DD-5 months. DH will be 39 in December, so you really got me thinking, counting my blessings. I hope you and your boys have a beautiful, joyful trip.

Thanks again guys for your thoughts. Yes, I'm in Philly-South Philly to be exact. I'm a Philly public school teacher-brave soul that I am! Just got back from the Eagles concert-it was fantastic! Gotta get some sleep-one of the things that comes with grief is insomnia. UGH. Not bad if you can sleep in, but I have a meeting all day tomorrow. Double UGH. Counting down until we leave for WDW-5 days! Looking forward to meeting you guys on the cruise!!
