What's the weather usually like at castaway? I looked today and this whole week is rain and lightning. If it does rain does it usually stay all day or come and go? Just curious!

We've been in June and March and it was beautiful both times. I think it can rain all day but it's less likely

Seems I joined the party late! I'll blame it on being a newbie only recently locking up leave for this trip . We are a family of five with two boys (16 & 10) and one girl (8). First time on DCL and extremely excited about the trip! If there is any chance for a Pixie Dust spot on a FE we'd love to be considered.

Thanks - you are kind. We reserved under a military offer and have 5c-GTY rooms now - hopefully will be issued staterooms soon. I'll take note of your cabin numbers and have my elves reciprocate!

So I logged on this morning to look at the princess frozen and breakfast and I got in, it was there, chose a time, but before I could confirm the site went down! Ugh!!!! So back to square one and site is down now. So frustrating!

I love all of the family pics, the set info about previous trips, bouncing characters etc. How do you do this? I have been trying to figure it out for two days and I am usually pretty good with this stuff?!?

Yes - it's been up and down all morning! Glad I was able to get our Meet and Greet times for Thursday. And I'm so happy I won't have to wait in line at Port Adventures now!

Saw you booked under Military - may I ask what service? My husband and I both served in the Navy. But he was the one who retired at 20 years!

Ha! That only means you served TWICE (or three times over, a spouse counts for two in my book). We are a Navy family too. I am a physician at Walter Reed now. This will be the first time for the kiddos in a 'real' ship - right and proper that we get underway together!

Cool - I do infectious diseases/internal medicine now. In the Navy started off as a medical officer in the diving medicine/submarine community but now hospital and lab based.

Seriously though, thanks to those who have served, you are all my heroes!! Military, medical, law enforcement, an so on, you are not rewarded enough for what you do!!
