First time doing FE and nervous. It looks like so much fun when we saw them on previous cruises. I just hope I don't get anxious about getting them all done on time. I would just like my youngest to experience this and hopefully convince my "preteen" to join the fun. You're only young once!

I've just been reading a really interesting thread about FE gifting; people were sharing ideas and some of the gifts they liked in the past, and they were talking about how some fe groups apply restrictions like no dollar store, favorite characters for each person, and basically how some become a pinterest competition to see who can spend the most money or be the most crafty..... it doesn't seem like our cosy group here is like that at ALL, and that makes me happy As a first time cruiser this for me is going to be about walking around the ship with my younger kids, delivering surprises, and getting super excited when something is in our pocketses! Whether it's a pencil, or a hand crafted personalized whatsit, my kiddos are going to love it, and I can't wait to see them get excited about giving, not just receiving! So whatever you get from us, know that it will be something my son thought looked awesome, or my 14yr old helped me make (taking precious time out of his important video game!) Or my 3yr old held in her chubby hand and wanted to keep for herself haha! But most of all, I hope we can all simply have fun and excitement, with no expectation of a certain value or expert level of pinterestiness!

Thank you! I am new at this too!! I finally bought the rest of my FE gifts yesterday. Still need to add a few touches and get them wrapped up. I was nervous about it all though. Hoping they aren't too boring or silly. Its funny how much FE's have been on my mind these last few months. When I'm out and about something catches my eye and I think "Hmmm, that would have been a good one!" LOL.
Oh well. They are all bought now and I am sure it will all be fun!!!

Well I logged on to the my cruise activities to see if Indymousefan 's TA was right about being able to book the meet and greets and character breakfast online today and I don't see anything anywhere. I was very hopeful but thought it was weird that no one on the main board seemed to be posting about it. Wonder if it was just a rumor?

The email I got from my travel agent said booking would be available online beginning June 6 -- just FYI!

My 15-year old son says he is "too old" for character breakfasts, so we will leave seats for those of you with younger ones (or who are young at heart like me!).

We got on to check to see if we could book it and it is not available. Was it available to anyone else? Is there a certain day we should look under? We will keep checking.

I wasn't able to book today either. I figure Disney would definitely put out an email if it was going to be available to everyone. So, I'm thinking it must be a perk for priority guests. Guess we'll all be waiting in long lines that first day on the ship

It just seems like it would be SO EASY to add these things to the online reservation process and eliminate that extra frustration on boarding day. But with a 5yo who all three of these things are top of her list there's no choice.

I agree, this would be so easy to do online at home. It would save us time and Disney's time. Doesn't sound very fun for first day.
Well, hopefully we will all run into each other in line and get to know one another, lol.

What's the weather usually like at castaway? I looked today and this whole week is rain and lightning. If it does rain does it usually stay all day or come and go? Just curious!

I am so glad to see our group is laid back about the FEs. I think it will be fun for the boys to get to sneak gifts to people, and they will love having little surprises waiting for them at our cabin. Everyone sounds like they are going to be so much fun to cruise with.

Since we are under 40 days now I think I will close the official lists. If anyone comes along from here I out we will add to the pixie dust list. This list can exchange with each other if they wish and if anyone else has extras they can give if desired. People need a little time to formally organize so I hope that's good with everyone!
