July 11 Disneyland Parkhopper

We are in SoCal for two weeks in July. We will be at DL July 5 & 6 and then going to San Diego for a couple days to visit friends. We have a 3 day park hopper. We want to go back to DL July 11th for one day. Does the park hopper have to be used 3 days in a row or is it any 3 days as long as it is used within 14 days of the first use? Also, we are trying to find a hotel ressie for July 11th and everything is booked up or the prices are increased. Is there something going on at DL that day?

The parkhopper can be used any 3 days and expires 13 days after the first use, so you will be fine.
