Why does work always have to blow up right before I leave on vacation?!

It's the LAW. Things just always have to go wrong when we want to go somewhere. Sorry it happened to you, too. But that means you're a true member of the team!

;)Hi, I will be going on the Wonder this Sunday, too. I am a traveling with two boys ages 6 and 16. I know it is a little late but I just found out recently about this. I have read some threads and learned a lot (especially about packing) I just wanted to say hello to everyone. I am super excited about our first Disney cruise.:dance3: (and overwhelmed, too, so many things  Well, I hope someone gets to read this message. :grouphug:

WELCOME!!! Please take a look at the first page of this thread, and come and say hi at our DIS Meet!!! The more, the merrier!! And of course, the kids are welcome for that and the picture, too.

Oh leave the stupid old lady alone. I've totally lost my mind. I'll go delete it.

I decided to fork out the $60 for the Early Bird check in with Southwest. I love the idea that they check us in automatically, and 12 hours earlier than the regular check in time to boot. Especially handy for the return trip... now I won't have to track down a 'puter.

What is the earliest you can arrive at the terminal? :confused3 I'm a platinum member so I know there's some special line or something...but I just really love getting the most out of the boarding day and try to squeeze in any extra minutes I can. Thanks in advance for the reply. Can't wait for the double dip! :cloud9:

I've done that a few times, and it really worked out well. I was always at least #A25 or higher. Which is great, because the first 10 or 15 numbers are held for some kind of premium members, and very few of them ever show.
Remember to take your receipt with you, just in case there's any doubt that you paid for that service. :thumbsup2

I honestly don't know, but someone will pipe in soon. My guess would be 10:00.

The port opens at 10, but lately I have heard that the line forms before then and most of them are folks wanting upgrades. Someone posted a few weeks ago that by 10:15, there were none left. Something like that. But you can get in starting at 10. The lines will be big then. Better at 10:30/11:00. Of course, no boarding until 12 Noon (officially).

I thought you needed to wait until you boarded to confirm an upgrade?????

Last summer, when we did the Tortola cruise, we were in line (in the rain) outside the terminal by...well, what time did we leave you all at breakfast?...9:00 or 9:30. Everyone who was there that early wanted an upgrade.
As soon as they let us inside the terminal to check in, we then asked for upgrades and if one was available, we were sent (with our paperwork) to a lady at the far right hand side of the check-in windows.

So anyway...upgrades are done at check in, before you board the ship.

Thanks - guess that is why I never got an upgrade when I asked when I boarded :rotfl2: Nevermind.

OK, we are packed - translation, stuff is tossed into cases. I think we had less cases when we did the 15 day and we had a tux and a gown and diver gear:lmao: This is not possible.

But we are driving, I am tired and do not wish to wrestle the packing into the normal efficient jigsaw puzzle shape.

It's quiet tonight, I guess everyone is on the road or otherwise occupied.

Have a fun night.

PS - Happy Birthday Ringo.
