**JULY 11, 2010*** Double Dip Wonder!

thanks for the info...... for sure, I'll know next time and something tells me there will be a next time........:wizard: well......I'll be there....can't wait.....let the fun begin! Now.....back to packing......I am almost done!

I have things literally STUFFED into two bags. I have more now than I did for Alaska, and that was cold weather, heavy clothes!
But in my own defense, I AM heading up to San Fran, too. No way am I washing clothes on the ship! Maybe if we had more sea days, but not this time.

Going to try to go to bed early. I have to leave the house at 7am for my flight. I hope I can sleep on the plane, so Vicki isn't picking up a cranky nag.
I just know I won't sleep tonight....."I'm too excited to sleep".....LOVED that commercial!

Safe travels to everyone! See you Sunday, if I don't get back on here before then.

The perfect race for Jim!

Thanks for thinking of me. I looked at this race when it was first announced and made the tough decision to pass.

Disney races have gotten so expensive. If I remember it is $120 which includes 1 taste and 1 wine sample. For family and friends to be at the finish line, they have to buy a $35 ticket, each.

Disney does have the best medals and this one being a first, it was really tempting but I'm starting to really like small races with no Hassle Factor.....like the CC 5K. I think I'll do that one twice. :cool1:

Going to bed early to leave the house at 7:00 am??? :confused3

I might think of going to bed early when I have to leave the house at 3:00 am.

I guess you will not be getting up early with the coffee group.

Good nite Stacey! Safe travels! I am just starting to pull stuff out to pack! Alexa is spending the night at her friend's so I am going to get in there and give her a gentle (?) start! Jim is on his own and I will work on my stuff tomorrow night. It's really coming down to the wire. Why is this so much more intense than a regular 5 day vacation??? Yikes!

I'm usually up reading until 2am. So anything before midnight IS early for me. And I don't have to clock in.

Unless you come to our balcony, you won't see me up early for coffee. I don't leave the room until I've had at least two cups. Before that, I bite.:stitch2:

Signing out! Will try to post from my phone...if I can figure out how.

Safe Travels, everyone!!!

See you on the WONDER.:sail:

Jim, do you think they will let me walk the 5K - although the gym routine we had on the PC was perfect so I may stick to that.

I looked at the Princess 1/2 marathon and was tempted until I saw the price -- I think it was $240????? Yikes - that is a dinner at V/A....

Because it is DISNEY and you get to meet all your new friends!!!!:grouphug:

Hope that the packing works better than the stuffing technique employed by Stacey and me. :rotfl:

Mary - thanks for taking the time to post the early morning WAKE UP call....

Safe travels for you...and you are in luck - it is cooler in Florida than anywhere else in the nation right now....At least that is what our local weather forecasters are saying.

Safe travels to all - can't wait to see everybody!

I work 7a-5p tomorrow and then I'm done too. Our flight is at 1pm on Saturday....

Yes, you can walk the 5K. It is a very informal run. They meet at the gangway. Walk to the map. Explain the route and then everyone goes.

There is no pacing, no timing, no finish line, you don't even need to return.

Walking would be fine.

Going to bed early to leave the house at 7:00 am???

:rotfl: I'm with you, leaving the house at 7 is late for me on a normal day. But I understand that everyone has a different clock.

Our flight is at 7:30 on Saturday, so we are leaving the house at 5:00 a.m. That means I need to be up no later than 4:00 a.m., but I am certain that I will neither go to bed early (too much to do!) nor sleep a wink (scared of oversleeping!). I am always a mess on travel day because I get no sleep and leave to early and it is always so busy.

Does anyone know if the Radisson will let you use their pool on check in day, even before you can officially check-in? I think by the time the kids and I get to MCO, pick up the car, head to port, eat lunch, run to Walmart, etc. we will still have time before check-in. It would be nice to relax by the pool.

It is intense for me because there is something about being on the ship that translates in my mind as "no Walmart." I usually don't panic on vacations because if I forget something, I can go buy it. The ship has some sundries and clothes, but it ain't cheap. I dunno... :confused3: goofy thing to be worried about I guess.
