Mary - thanks for posting this...Congratulations....

Even though Florida now has a team (or is it two teams?), someone born in the tropics never understands Hockey or why the Stanley Cup is played in June. I had lost track - and now PBS radio is announcing that after 50 years you won - and in overtime - and with a potentially controversial play. And then cheers - the team scored....YIPPPEEEEEE.

To help with the excitment of the upcoming cruise, I thought we could all post our bext "cruise hint"....some may be old ideas, some may be new...

I'll start - Crew member of the Day.

The crew works hard and those comment cards they give you at the end of the cruise do count. However I am really bad at remembering names. So for the Panama Cruise I started a journal of crew member of the day. sometimes it was a magical disney moment, others it was a cute or thoughtful remark or service. Once it was a crew member talking to a small child.....Then I had the list all ready for the comment card....

[FONT=&quot]At the end of the cruise you will get color coded luggage tags to put on your luggage. Information needed is:[/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Number of pieces of luggage (1 of 3, 2 of 3, 3 of 3) [/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Stateroom number [/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Name [/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Address (including city, state and zip code)[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Make those up in advance on your address labels. Then when you have to pack [/FONT][FONT=&quot]it will make it a little quicker. Plus by being printed it is easier for the porters who unload the ship to help keep your pieces together. Tag measures 4 inches wide by 2.5 inches tall to help you figure out which size label to use.

My favorite tip is the over the door shoe hange thing. My girls and I have so much junk... sunscreen, hair ties, cameras, etc. and the OTD hanger keeps it all in check and off the limited table/counter space in the cabin.

Sorry for being firm but after years of doing this and having people drop in at the last minute we have to set up a cut-off date for our own sanity (no comment on my sanity from those who know me).

Oh yes, I cannot wait. Had a look through the closet so we could see what fits and what needs to be donated. Hate that......Since we are not flying we are free to bring the entire wardrobe - that will not happen, must plan to exercise some restraint.

Hedgie however thinks she should bring 10 hats - Not that will not happen either.

Thanks....although we have two - as we have Palo's and the dress up night. That's fine...we hauled the tux and gown on prior trips....One day I expect to hear DH say something like "Bond,James Bond".....

But for this trip it is blazers or jackets (what ever guys call the coat that is ot a suit).

For me, I am tempted to wear my "vintage" dress - It would be a better idea if the vintage part was not me in an earlier life - hey, it is the one dress I kept.....

FATAL ERROR - has anyone else ever received that message? Oh well, it posted.
