We really enjoyed the snorkeling at Serenity Bay last April.

Nice!! Maybe there just aren't as many fish in September??
We DID see a stingray. It sent Frances into a tizzy!

Stacy - that was a beautiful trip - We have tried to grab it again to no avail, every other time it was cancelled, such that we tried the walk and sea kayak on the Panama Cruise. Maybe we will snag a snorkel on the Wedding Cruise?????? Say yes!

Sharon, Kaylah and I have signed up for it for next month. I hope they don't end up canceling it. And I hope we get to go to the "good reef".

I'll never forget Jared going around telling people that there was a "huge" barracuda in the water....:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.....half swam quickly back to the boat, the other half wanted pictures!

In his defense, he thought people would be interested. He didn't realize that it would scare some people.

Serenity Bay can certainly change. The above shots were late April and we were able to walk out to the area. In September of 05 we were at CC right after hurricane Opelia went through the area. Walking in only about 10 feet and the water was up to my neck. Couldn't see anything in the water because all the sand was churned up. So you never know.

Hey everyone, I made it. That counter was nice... ticking away weeks as fast as I could read.
:hourglass

Wow I cant wait to see some water like that. Seems most of the snorkeling I've done has been just halfway decent or called off for some reason (high winds, boat engine problems, jellyfish) but I still loved it... I cant even imagine snorkeling in water like that.

anyhoo... theres my 15 minute break... back to work now :surfweb:

Welcome! It wasn't all that long ago I remember someone getting excited to be able to go to Palo. :goodvibes Glad to be joining the two of you for a much bigger event :)

I should mention a bit more about those pictures. That is way out by the outer marker off Serenity where Disney's been doing their best to create a safe artificial reef to attract the sea life. Most of Serenity Bay is very shallow and flat as a pancake. This spot has only been out there a few years and already as you can see it's working. :thumbsup2

Welcome! Glad to hear you like the countdown. Just a little tradition we do. Of course it will take on much bigger meaning for your guys as you just aren't counting down to a cruise but a wedding as well.

Yeah! So glad to hear you booked!

Well, Lisa has no interst (currently) in the shark dive, so I think we are going to go back to the Segway Tour. I tried to book one of those in Seattle for us, but unfortunately, you must be 16. She is only 14, so no go.:headache:

Hey Nick!!! How's it going? I for one want to thank you for agreeing to marry Virgil's daughter and take a chance on him as a father-in-law.
We're all excited for you two, and double excited about re-creating the Double Scoop Blabbermouth cruise!!!

I didn't swim that far out. I was afraid I'd never make it. Maybe if I get fit with the Wii, I'll try it this time.

I know that my family is definitely going to book with Stuart Cove....if they have space for us. You two are more than welcome to come along and snorkel.
It's going to be awfully hot down there in July to do any kind of "land" tour.

I am interested in the Segway as well as the flying wall tour.....and a whole year to "wonder"......
