I know we are too late for the FE, and I'm sure we're too late for the name tags too, but we look forward to seeing everybody at the meet. I have enjoyed reading everyone's posts, and am happy to see other teens my boys' ages, fellow South Carolinians, and even another recent high school grad. Are you guys going to make a list of everybody? Or did we miss that too?

Just joining you! We are on this cruise too. Our 3rd DCL cruise. This one celebrating DS's high school graduation and our 22nd wedding anniversary. DS-18, between high school and college. This cruise was his one request for a graduation present. He loves DCL and keeps in touch with friends he met on prior cruises. DS-14, high school sophomore. Both sons very sociable and like hanging out with others in their age groups. Counting down the days!

Glad to have y'all!!! If you are interested we are having a DISmeet at 3PM in the Prommanade Lounge on the 11th - prior to the safety drill!!

Like “Special Ks Mom” said, we’re glad to have y'all aboard!!! Where “abouts” in the Palmetto State do you call home? We’re in Fort Mill, just a couple of miles south of the boarder near Charlotte. Your DIS-Name would lead me to guess that you’re on the Georgetown county coast, but that’s just a guess. Actually we’re going down to Garden City to get in a little beach time between the 1st and 4th. Who knows, we may accidentally run into each other somewhere down that way.

Now, down to business… We’re the "unofficial" keepers of the member’s lists and we’d be happy to add you on. We also certainly hope to see you at the DIS-Meet on the 11th. The more the merrier. We got your cabin number and the boy’s names form your posts to the thread. Would you like to post the first names for every else in your crew? I’m pretty sure that “Momcloud” will be able to make up a couple more nametags. Once we see all the names for your family we’ll PM her to let her know if she hasn’t already checked in with you directly (which is more likely).

We’ll go ahead and repost the most current member’s list in the next post, but we can also send you an Excel spreadsheet of everyone who’s checked in on the thread if you’d like. Just PM us an email address and we’ll send it along.

Hi Momcloud. My DH's name is Kirk and my name is Martha. My DS14 will definitely spend a lot of time at The Stack. My DS18 is going to see if he can be a part of the teen group at The Stack. From what I understand, if they have the room, they will let 18-yr-olds join the group, but if the teen group is at capacity, they won't. Last summer an 18-yr-old guy participated in all the teen activities, with permission. My son really hopes he can be a part of that group. He still "talks" daily with two girls he met last summer at The Stack. I saw a trip report from a 19-yr-old guy where he described a group called College Club, but I don't know anything about that. It sounded like they just had some type of activity planned once a day. I mentioned this to my son but he said he had rather hang out with the teen group. Except for dinner each night and when we got off the ship, we rarely saw our boys last cruise. They LOVED it.

We finished our FE gifts and CM tip/goodie bags today and I am as packed as I can get I think....organized at least and know what we will be taking....but everything else will have to wait as we have to have something to wear for the next 2 weeks!!!!

Help me with "CM". What does that stand for?

“CM” is the DIS-Boards abbreviation for “Cast Member” which its self is Disney Speak for anyone employed at any of the Disney parks, facilities or DCL. In this instance she’s talking about her room steward and servers.

Hello, my name is Michael, I just found this website and the threads. I will be sailing on this 7 day cruise with my family of seven (DW: Sophia, DS: Christopher just turned 18, DS: Trey 14, DS: Javon 9, DS: Avion: 4 and DD: Kyarri 2. I am in the military, traveling from Okinawa Japan to be on this trip. We've also booked 6 nights at the Shades of Green at Disney World immediately following the cruise. I know it's a little late in the ball game to try to join in on the group but hoping to get my kids hooked up with some of the cruisers. We know very little about the disney cruise, we're rookies at best. I've learned alot reading the threads but hoping to get expert advice from the group that will be on board the ship with us. If you have any info and wouldn't mind sharing and mentoring my family and I. I would be humbled by any info! I look forward to any and all info and look forward to sailing with you all! Mike
