Julio GONE???? (from Cartier)

I just called Cartier to check on a limo for our March cruise as a surprise for our kids. I told them how much we enjoyed having Julio as our driver in October. We wanted to request him as our driver for March. They said he no longer worked for Cartier.
From what I could gather it seems a few DISer's posted some things about him and he no longer works for Cartier.
Guess I missed that one!!

What did Julio do or say that could have caused a problem?

Almost all the posts I have read about Cartier are good. I have seen a few bad ones but very few.

I would like to think he quit and went to work for a better service.

I had a horrible time with Cartier (not picking me up on return trip, etc.) But, Julio was my driver from mht to wl and he was a very nice guy, very attentive. He was late to pick me up and told me he had just received the call, which should have been my signal to make back-up arrangements.

So, hopefully he has gone onto bigger and better things, maybe he will be my driver when I try a new service this spring.

We had him in October and he was wonderful....does anyone know where he went?!? Maybe to start his own service...that would be great!

Julio was our limo driver last summer, and I liked him so much, I asked him for his card so that I could recommend him to all my friends.

I am so sorry to hear that Julio is gone!!! He is THE reason I re-booked Cartier. We had him as a driver this past September and he was outstanding; the best towncar driver that we have had. I had been on the fence on whether to book our January trip with Cartier or FL Tours, but two things made up my mind to book with Cariter: 1 - Julio and 2 - FL Tours cash only policy. I requested Julio for our upcoming January trip, but I guess I won't get him at Cartier! Does anyone know where he went?! Although I agree with the posters hoping that he has moved on to bigger and better things.

WELL I HAVE INFORMATION ON JULIO.... HE LEFT THE COMPANY BECAUSE BUSINESS FOR CARTIER WAS BAD. HE IS DOING REALLY GOOD RIGHT NOW AND HE IS THINKING ABOUT OPENING A LIMO SERVICE..... LOOK FOR IT SOON.

I have kept contact with Julio after he left Cartier, and yes, he is doing much better now than when he was with Cartier. From what he tells me, the reasons why he left were that they were literally wearing him out and always asking him for more than he could handle. He would never have time for himself or his family, and the worst was that he never even got a "thank you" from them. I guess he took enough, and decided to look for better things, which he did find. I personally cannot see how a company could be so un organized and so un thankful, when an employee brings them so much good references, and brings them so much business. I used Cartier my last time, but if Julio wont be there anymore, I wont even waste my time with them... in my opinion, they lost the best employee they had, and I personally dont think that they will get very far by treating their employees the way they treated him. Cartier is just another company trying to find a shortcut to their first million by being cheap and ripping their employees off.

Well I for one have had nothing but great service from Cartier and never had Julio as a driver. Its a shame to see a company torn apart just because one employee decided to move on and maybe start his own company.
