juggling dinner and after school stuff...timing questions

Does your oven have a "timed oven" or "delayed start" function? Mine does and I use it often. I don't know how long it normally takes you to cook your chicken breasts that way, but you could put them in the oven right before you leave and have the oven come on 30 minutes later, and be just turning off when you get home. I do this all the time for Sunday lunch after church, as does my mom and my sister. Often I make a lasagna or other casserole ahead of time then put it in the oven before I leave at 8:45, have it turn on an hour or so later and cook until 12:00, when we'll be almost home.

Crockpot is your best friend when you don't have time to cook at the stove or don't want to. I love mine. I am on my second one. My first one broke. I would even love to have one of those new pressure cookers.
I got my pressure cooker at Aldi and I love it. I need to learn to use it for more things so I can use it more often.
