Jr.HIgh, cool or drool?

I'm in junior high and in my opinion I'm sweatin hard. Well, I dunno whether your junior high is 8th and 9th (I'm in seventh), but I think the hardest is math. I thinky ou shoudl find what interests you so you can enjoy those extra-curricular classes, and maybe you'll have a great time in cheerleading. But it is hard; education wise and social wise.

I'm practically a freshmen. The past few years have been the toughest -- emotionally. Stress levels are high, yes, but you can always smooth that over within a few days.

People change. Including yourself. I like to think of middle school as 'establishing yourself.' Find who you are. This isn't something that happens over night. Just this month, I've noticed a change in myself. It's all good.

Find your place. You'll do fine. I love Junior High because I know where I go. I know not to let anyone's opinion sway me.

middle school is about finding yourself. and who you wanna hang around with.

i had these best friends in 6th and 7th grade. and we aren't friends anymore. well me and this one girl. pretty much because she doesn't even care about me. but that's okay. i had a rough couple months but now it doesn't even matter. i have a new best friendd.
and jam. hehe.
but just remember, whenever you're having tough times, that's what the boards are for.

Junior high (we called it middle school, grades 6-8) was pretty lame considering that's when all the cliques started.
Cheerleading was the only fun part. I wish I'd stuck with it.

Have Fun.
Just stick with your friend's and you will be alright.
I can't believe I graduate middle school next month.I remember the first day of 6th grade.I was so nervous!

But at our school 6th graders were seperated from the 8th grader's except when we went to our elective so we didn't have to worry about that.

Time sure does flyy by!

Junior High is the worst for stereotypes and for cliques...while High School is the worst for drama. Just try not to dwell on what wrong happens -- things may seem monumental for you now, but after you leave the things will seem pety and silly.

While your grades in Junior High don't count towards a transcript yet, it is important to focus on achieving high standards. You want to be good and ready for High School so that you can put together a good resume for colleges so that you have a bright future ahead of you. Junior High is in preperation to High School so it's important to start establishing your own set of regulations. What I mean by that is, adjust yourself to your schedule and how much time you should spend on your homework. But make sure to manage time well enough to hang out with your friends and be social. It is important to be social in these years. It is GREAT that you are already looking to join cheerleading. It gives you something to keep active, social, and involved with your school.

Make sure not to over stress yourself. Consider projects and work in time limits. Don't tell yourself you have "x" amount of projects due or homework -- just work on it when you can and things will fall into place. Junior High is stressful enough where you don't need to over work yourself.

Find yourself. Decide what kind of person you are and what really interests you. You begin to adjust your personality to where you want it to be - to what people you will hang out with and what subjects you enjoy more. Even though you may think you know your interests, you never stop changing your mind. I am stilling making my mind up about things and I'm in 12 grade...almost in college.

I remember the most important thing to me in Junior High were my friends. I was so fixed on being social that I left my grades out there to rot. I was able to pick myself up in High School and maintain straight A's, but it's important to balance your friends with your work. It is during these years that you truly develope as a student.

Also...you'll be FINE! You WILL survive junior high lol. It will also go by so quickly. Cherish these years for you won't get them again. ;)

Plus -- I think high school is way more cool than junior high. I hated junior high. So just think about what you have to look forward to!! :thumbsup2

I second everything the wise Cat said!

WELL SAID CAT!
