Journeyman - cancelled?

Does anybody remember the name of the program that was cancelled on one network but picked up on another and went on to be very, very popular? It was a few years ago but turned out to be a huge hit for the network that ended up taking a chance on it.

The two I remember are JAG and Taxi. Jag started out on NBC and had a blonde lady playing opposite Harm. They cancelled it and CBS picked it up and brought in Catherine Bell to replace the blonde actress. Taxi started out on NBC if memory serves. They cancelled it and ABC picked it up.

Didn't that happen to Star Trek, too?

Not surprised. It's a great show so, obviously, it had to be canceled!

I DO think time travel is quirky...I think you misread my post. Regarding "Medium" I said "it TOO is quirky" but maybe you thought I said "it's too quirky".

Because I can't stomach Patricia Arquette, I don't know who Jake Weber is, so I will have to take your word for it. BTW I don't like Oprah or Rachel Ray .
