i have decided TODAY to try a new approach. both in daily journaling here and also a way to kick start a loss, shrink my appetite/stomach size, and break my snacking habit. for the next 12 days i'm going to follow my version of a Slimfast plan. I have about 20 cans of the premade shakes so i'm going to utilize that from this day forward until June 16 when we leave for our vacation in TN

B: vitatop, yogurt smoothie, coffee
L: SF drink; turkey brat with green peppers/onions
S: cottage cheese with berries; baked doritos
D: Applebee's WW southwestern Cobb salad

exercise: 60 mins powerwalking
 
today i had to work from 7 - 12:30, took my food and did fine there. worked out after work which was all good too, 'cept now i'm HUNGRY! i just ate some combos, and no more snacking other than my planned snack. i may make a cup of hot tea or cappucino (10 calories) as it's pleasantly cool here today

B: vitatop, light-n-fit yogurt, coffee
S: apple
L: SF drink
S: cottage cheese with fruit; combos
D: chef salad

exercise -- 50 mins strength training workout routine at FC
 
another day, another dollar.......or whatever it may be

B: Special K strawberries, light soymilk, coffee
L: SF drink
S: berries and cottage cheese
D: cookout -- this will be a challenge it's out of my control :eek:

exercise: not sure, maybe a day off? a little sore from yesterday
 
well back from my trip 'back home'

today -- not sure i'll get exercise in, have to leave for pantry mtg then work in 2 hours :eek:

B: coffee, Flax plus cereal with lite soymilk
S:
L: healthy choice frozen meal
S: cottage cheese and fruit
D: SF drink

i'll have to think on this, i'm working 12 - 7 which makes it hard to eat! i will get a meal break though which i usually don't
 

M-I know you are on vacation, but wanted to pop in and say hello. Good going on getting this journal going.

hey Tammy!! thanks for popping in!!

returned from vacation, back up to 154 -- shoot! DARN!!!

started counting points yesterday -- 22 for the day with a 3 mile powerwalk.

today i have to work which makes it more challenging, but heading down to do my Denise Austin DVD shortly

B: english muffin with p butter
L: HC entree, cheezits
S: carrots, wheat thins
D: turkey sandwich, pria bar

total 22 pts

also need to go to the grocery!! no cottage cheese, no soymilk, hardly any fresh veggies left!

last night made a healthy dinner, grilled pork, peas and applesauce or pears. very filling, tempted to snack later and just had one small handful of wheat thins. it's progress
 
got up first thing and did my 4 mile walk -- hot and sticky and i can't wait until my shorts are riding up :rotfl2:

well it was more of a challenge at work yesterday, Subway was brought in and i had extra pts so i allowed myself a cookie. however i didn't plan on the big bowl of peanut m & ms left on the counter! darn PMS! I still have to plug in my pts, i was probably a few over -- but went to bed with my stomach rumbling a bit looking for that late night snack it never got :teeth:
 
today is a rest/active day -- going to dust off my yoga DVD for 30 mins a little later. also going to do some yard work. i don't have to be to work until 3 p.m. -- which helps in the whole meal thing

B: coffee, vitatop
L: turkey sammich, V8, TLC granola bar
S: skinny cow
D: LC chicken club panini, apple

2 rummy diet cokes this evening too
 
ok, this afternoon is hard -- did a great strength workout this morning but those tend to leave me hungry all day, that and PMS and i can't keep my hands out of the graham sticks box! :eek:

B: coffee, english muffin with peanut butter
L: butternut squash soup, TLC crackers
S: honey graham sticks, cottage cheese and fruit
D: chicken breast with jarred alfredo sauce, whole wheat pasta, one piece Lite garlic bread salad
 
wow dinner last night was great! found a lower-fat alfredo sauce at wally-world -- Bertolli mushroom alfredo -- 6 g fat per 1/4 cup instead of the 16-19 g most other jarred sauces had. I added a large can of mushrooms too and it was fab!

today is workout day off! yea!! i'm ready for a day off after 5 days in a row
