Journaling on the computer

I'm looking for info on how to journal for my scrapbooks using the computer. Can I just print my things directly from word perfect? Is my ink acid free and safe for my scrapbooks? What type of paper should I print on. Tips for making this look good? Is their a special website or computer program to get fonts for scrapbooking. Any help would be appreciated.

I am not really sure on the quality of the ink - I think it depends on the printer -
but I use mine all the time

I usually print on cardstock, and LOVE vellum and mullberry too!. Just watch your setting on your printer if youuse different papers!

I did read that most ink is fine and alot of plain printer is fine too. Buy a ph pen (about 3.00) but should be just fine. Have fun. I love all the options that you get with the computer.

I use the computer for all my journaling. Some will say you need to have your own handwriting in your books, but I have so much to say, it's easier with a computer!!

I use my computer for 90% of my journaling - just like the neatness.

As for fonts, I recently purchased Becky Higgins Creative Clips. It has WONDERFUL titles, journal boxes and embellishments.

It's a VERY user friendly program and I highly recommend it!!!!

Epson inks are acid free and they have many types of acid free paper. Not all their paper is acid free though.

Yes Rebecca - that's my son. This photo appeared on the front page of our local newspaper. The photo includes me and four of his five sisters. It was the greatest moment of my life!!!!
