Journal for 1st 2nd grader?

I was going to buy basic draw and write journals for young kids to use on our next trip. But after seeing some of the things posted here I thought I might like to make personalized ones instead. However, the journal pages I am finding are more elaborate than what I need. Can anyone point me to some very basic pages? I suppose maybe even ones with just background. I have a little comfort using Photoshop so could personalize where necessary. I would likely only want to have 1-2 pages per day, not whole chapters or anything.

These are for a 1st grader and a 2nd grader, so I want to keep them very basic.

I have some I downloaded for my daughter last year when she was in the
2nd grade. I don't remember who I got them from though. I could e-mail them to you.

I have one set up in a word document in my 4shared file in the link in my signature called "WDW Kids Journal". It does have a lot of disney characters but the background pages are white so it doesn't use as much ink as some of the other AMAZING ones out there. Since it is set up in word...you can edit it to fit your needs. For example...there are two cover pages. Click on the name one the cover page you want to use and it will open up the textbox so that you can edit the name.

I have instructions on the first page for how to set up and print the journal! You will need to download "Waltograph" to your computer and make sure the margins are set so that everything lines up correctly.

WVdisneymom- thanks for the quick reply - I actually got what I needed from the next poster. jtanddolly - I checked out your4shared and downloaded your Kids Journal - it's exactly what I need. With a little tweaking and personalizing, it will suit our needs perfectly!
