I'm happy that she is home!

As for Michelle being pg again...I wouldn't be surprised. She normally loses the pregnancy weight quickly, but she's still wearing maternity shirts four months after the birth of Josie.

These micro-premies can throw you a curve faster than you can say Holy Smoke! She may be out of the hospital, but she won't be out of the woods for several months.

I think there is a lot of information that has been witheld from the public. Not that I blame them--they are under no obligation to spill their guts for the vultures to pick over. Personally, having worked with premies I believe there is probably some "condition" going on there. There are some GI problems which would cause the floating organs, floppy abdominal muscle, and severe constipation. I doubt that lactose intolerance is the whole story.

They have said she will need surgery in her tummy region when she gets bigger. (I had a preemie, too. My dd was 1#15.5 oz. She's 11 and fine now.)You can tell just by looking at Josie's face that all is not yet well with her. Even my dh (who's "dense" as a brick, said as much.) I wish Josie well. I hope she get's through this with no long term problems.

They did say this on the last or second to last episode. I think they said she needed to weight 8 lbs before she could have the surgery. The lactose thing was probably just making the intestinal situation harder to deal with.

From the article I saw the other day, they seem to be staying in Little Rock for awhile. Maybe they will stay there until after her surgery. I probably would.
