Jon and Kate Plus Eight

this show is probably the best show i have ever seen. my parents dont like it 'cause they think they are living off there children. personally i dont care if they are, the show is too good to get rid of!

i love all of the kids... but my favorite is aaden. he looks so quiet and cuddly. i want all 8 of them for myself!

I was unaware it was possible for Aaden to not be everyone's favorite. At any rate, the worst is by far Mady - the girl drives me up the wall. And an important thing not to be excluded in any Jon and Kate Plus Eight discussion-Jon is a saint.

If you'll notice, Jon has a full-time job as an IT guy and Kate had to quit her nursing job in order to watch after the kids. Now I don't know how much she was making but it's increadibly likely that it was by far the best economic (and personal) decision for them to make. It's not like these are two lazy, untrained, and uneducated people who purposely had all these kids in order to get money for them.

Anyway, I like Cara and all the littles. I really don't care for Mady, she seems like a selfish little brat.

Producing a tv show of your kids is living off your children. Also I understand the hardship of raising eight children however, what will they do when all their kids are school age? Will they then go back to their career or continue living off their children?

I missed this thread the first time around apparently.

I watch the show occasionally (personally, I prefer 18 kids and counting haha--except there is literally NO drama in that show because they are all so well-behaved. haha)
Definitely don't have a favourite kid, but I can't stand Mady, every time I watch it she's just being a giant irritating brat.
Also I think Kate is....not a nice person. I really can't stand her.


What do you all think of all this controversy about them having affairs and such??

I definitely think that Jon & Kate's marriage is totally loveless, and it always seems like they can't stand each other. Of all the episodes I've watched I've never seen them hug, kiss, touch each other, or really even say something nice about the other.
I don't think they'll get divorced though because of the show.

I love all of them! Even Kate!! I think she is amazing and yea, she can get bossy at times, but wouldn't you have to if you had small child?? I've always wanted 6 kids, but now that i've started watching the show, I want 8!!!!!! I watch this show every day adn absolutley love it!! I voted for Leah though. cause she's jsut so little and cute!!!

I'm addicted Season 5 I believe starts on Monday!!!
I heard that there going to be talking about the recent rumors and the sextuplets 5th b-day this will be interesting...
I think that this will be the last season of Jon and Kate Plus 8 and Kate's even said they may be getting a divorce so I really don't know whats going to happen
I do think that the media is making it sound a lot worse than it really is but still Aunt Jodi & Kevin are confirming these things and it just doesn't sound right
But I guess only time will tell...

I like the show, but find Kate annoying.
She is far to demanding, she overreacts about everything, and sometimes she is down right cruel to Jon.

Their kids are adorable though, I love them all.
I picked Alexis though, she always makes me smile.

Jon and Kate Plus 8 is pretty much all I ever watch. Love it.

Aaden and Alexis are my favorites.
