I have no idea. I've been on the DIS forever, it seems like ... and I know little to nothing about banning. I know a person can get banned, but I don't know how. There's also some deal with points I don't know anything about.

I was on YouTube watching the spoof clip of the Gosselins that someone posted here, and I noticed that the entire first episode, Surviving Twins and Sextuplets, is on there. I've never seen it before, so I watched it. The quality isn't great but it is so interesting to watch! Jon and Kate are SO different! I liked watching it on You Tub because I could pause it easily. They show a lot of the notes Kate leaves around (which I guess is one way she hasn't changed). One was titled, "Kate's coffee" and it had extremely specific directions on how she likes it. Jon said that he made her coffee every morning, and I couldn't help but laugh at that. A husband needs a recipe for how to make his wife a cup of coffee?

Also, she said that the sextuplets napped from 12:30-4:00. MAN, I wish my kids had napped for 3 1/2 hours when they were little! Actually, I wish they still would.

I have no idea if they were booted but there's a difference between having a different opinion and believing your opinion is the only right one. People have disagreed on here from the beginning and it was always a fun discussion, but it gets ridiculous when you post your opinion and the same person writes back every single time saying "You're wrong, this is what's true" when their truth is just rumors to begin with You can disagree while still respecting other people's opinions and not continuously and overbearingly shoving your own opinion down people's throats

One more thought I had after watching their first show: no matter what Jon & Kate are like now, by golly they worked their fannies off with those babies. Jon worked f/t during the week, Kate worked 16 hour shifts on Saturdays, plus the work with those kids was truly never-ending. If it's true that Kate really does "nothing" now (which I find very hard to believe) maybe she deserves a break! Watching that was very eye-opening for me and it made me less judgemental. So there ya go.

If they truly believe that, what kind of people are they that they would add to the abuse by posting hurtful things for the internet world to see?

These lies sound pretty easy to discredit. Who does Jon work for or how do they support their family? What groups/charities/people does Kate donate clothes, etc. to? Why does Kate scream "get up, get up, no grass stains?" How much do they really charge for speaking engagements, this shouldn't be secret? Why do the family members say they aren't involved in the kids "every day lives"? I don't know any of these answers.

Some of that stuff is family business. Yes, they signed up to be on TV, but they didn't sign up to allow the world into all of their private life.

Are those on fan boards not stooping to the Kate bashers levels by adamently defending the show/family? Why do fans care what others say if they know they are all lies?
I want to like this family, I'm rooting for them all to come out of this stardom with their heads on straight.

Man, hat trick. I quoted you three times. There were some very rude things posted by that poster. You probably got lost in the novel that was written here in the last few days. Also, someone asked if he/she/it had a family, not that he/she/it didn't like his/her/its family.

Its so sad that we cant even enjoy the great new site because "conveniently" on the same day a Paul Peterson article comes on the GWOP by the mysterious "Pam". The whole thing is so shady. Doesn't anyone think its odd that the DAY Mr. Peterson writes this article its on the front page of GWOP? My feeling is that they probably have been hounding him for weeks to write something so they could use it as ammo. I LOVE the new site! At least college funds are no longer mentioned. Hopefully that will go away...

The new FAQ mentions that they do infact have their "organic meals" brought in on filming days. Which makes since I guess. I know I don't feel like cooking after a long day either of working or playing.

Wow, I think this article is eloquent and to the point. He doesn't accuse Jon and Kate of anything malicious. It sounds like sound advice for the kid’s well being to me. The traditional "child stars" struggle historically and with this show, the line between real life and tv has become blurred or nonexistant it seems.

I thought so, too. And I'm impressed with Mr. Peterson ... he was getting emails several weeks ago about the show. He didn't just jump right in and join the attack. I believe that he carefully researched the situation and wrote a thoughtful article.

I thought so, too. And I'm impressed with Mr. Peterson ... he was getting emails several weeks ago about the show. He didn't just jump right in and join the attack. I believe that he carefully researched the situation and wrote a thoughtful article.

I also thought his article was interesting. It seems like their situation is kind of unprecedented. I wouldn't call them child stars in the conventional sense. Some child stars fared well, others...not so much. I don't think anyone can say, for a fact, how the fame will effect the kids, but the article does raise some questions that Jon and Kate may want to consider.

I like the new site, too! I noticed that the writing is very "Kate." I'm interested to see if the antis will refute everything that answers their questions, such as catering only on filming days, some family members being involved but not wanting to be on camera, etc.
