Poor Aunt Jodi! She seems so sweet and genuine. My heart goes out to her.

It's very sad that fame and greed have destroyed a family. Regardless of who is to blame, at the end of the day they all lose.

After watching Jodi's video on her sister's blog, all I can think is "God bless that woman!" I can't imagine how horrible this whole thing has been for her.

Wow to that video. It says so little but so much. I stopped watching the show months ago because I felt like you could see the change it was making in them. It is no longer reality/actuality television. I think they are smart for using the show to set themselves up a little bit, but there is a line. I definatly think they have crossed it along time ago. Episodes with teeth whitening and hair plugs. Come on people! (no i did not watch it, just keep tabs on it from here)

There are many on here who say it is just entertainment and it doesn't matter. I disagree. I think that the show has gone overboard. Are the kids cute and fun to watch? You bet, however I think an annual show would do just fine and then Jon and Kate would actually be forced into having a normal life like everyone else instead of loading it in just because they have sextuplets.

Hope this is not too judgemental, but these boards are here for us to voice an opinion, no?

Well, I'd say that video just confirms what we've all been questioning huh? Kate really IS the shrew Jodi's sister has described. That makes me a little sad...I was hoping there was some exaggeration or something.

I was hoping the same thing.

Jodie is a brave woman.....Kate's head is going to explode when she sees that video. I feel so bad for the kids though. Jodie's and Kate's...those are their cousins and I bet they won't be seeing each other again for a really long time. Very, very sad.

Wow, wow wow!! I am another one who was kind of hoping things were being blown out of proportion, that things couldn't really be that bad, etc. This video absolutely clinches it. How can Kate recover her reputation after this? Jodi has no reason to exaggerate, she was not bashing Kate, she wasn't giving out lurid details (and I'm sure she could). Even Jodi's sister's blog doesn't give out too much, you know? As damning as it is, it could be worse. So either the blogger (Julie) is censoring herself a bit, or Jodi doesn't share the dirtiest dirt on Jon & Kate.

Poor Jodi. I wish she was my sister-in-law.

at the end of the day, it doesn't matter who says what. words, videos, TV shows, etc. can all be edited & spun. People see what they want to see. There are as many people that think Jon & Kate Gosselin can do no wrong as there are people who think that show should be yanked off TLC tomorrow. I don't know that I have ever seen something that wasn't political or religious in nature that divides people the way or evokes such strong opinions as JK8 does. It's crazy.

I think the eeriest part of the article is the timeline for the fertility treatments! Who allows that? It was not fate at all but a calculated plan to get this family on tv. How much of this "reality show" is totally fabricated? Makes you wonder after "looking" at property to purchase knowing their mansion is under construction courtesy of the film company. So sad for the kids. Their fishbowl gets smaller each time someone they love goes away. Everyone likes to say Jon and Kate exploit the kids, but they totally exploit themselves too. I don't think any multiples have become this much of a product since the Dionne quints(?) were given to the govt. by their family. I wanted at first to believe all the talk was rumors and half truths, but where are the people who KNOW and love them? Why aren't they defending them?

Yes you may ask why they SEEM that way to me. I've been an EC preschool-2nd teacher for 21 years specializing in language pathology. Anyone knows many preemies need special services to thrive, this isn't criticism.

just wanted to add I am a pediatric Occupational Therapist for the past 12 year and have 3 preemies of my own born at 31 weeks, and non of them were developmentally delayed. That is an extremely broad statement

You're absolutely right! Regular posters here do not begrudge anyone their opinion - positive or negative.(and, while I'm a fan of the show, I do agree with what you said) That is what a message board is all about! Unfortunately though, many posters come here just to rip this family apart. It's one thing to voice an opinion - we're all entitled to one. But it's another thing to just come on and bash. And you'll see that this thread attracts ALOT of those types of posters!

Now as for that blog and Jodi's video on it -- all I can say is WOW! In my mind, it now makes that blog all the more credible and clearly there is something very nasty going on in the family. I'm going to keep in mind though that there are two sides to every story and we are only hearing one side of it. If everything Jodi's sister has written about Jon and Kate is 100% true then I don't think very highly of them anymore. But, quite frankly, airing all of this dirty laundry over the internet does not lead me to think very highly of the other side of the family either. I'm mean really, I don't feel sorry for Jodi! That blog - and all the nastiness in it - does not help the situation AT ALL! It seems to me that everyone involved is looking for some attention right now and it's all just incredibly sad to me.

If, at the end of the day, everyone involved wants to maintain that they're only concerned about the well-being of the children, then they have all failed miserably: Jon and Kate have failed because of how they have alienated the rest of their family; and Jodi and her family has failed for taking this family matter and spread it out all across the internet for the world to see. Right now, I'm finding them all pretty shameful!

Interesting. As much as I love the show there's obviously a lot of drama going on behind the scenes. However, I don't think Jodi's a saint or at all in the right here. Since when is it mature and classy to air your family's dirty laundry to millions of people online? If Kate's nasty and a horrible person behind the scenes, then that sucks. It really does and I feel bad for all involved. But I said it about the blog originally and now I'll say it about the video... running online to complain to complete strangers about your own family is childish, tacky and inappropriate. Like I said, it's horrible that there's so much behind-the-scenes drama, but this is only adding to it and will hurt no one but the kids and create a bigger rift within the family. Like the PP said, it seems as if the entire family's seeking attention for themselves rather than worrying about the well-being of their family and children. If Jodi and her sister weren't seeking attention they would have never drawn it to themselves. No one cares about Jodi or even knows who her sister is... they don't have a show or any reason to be in the spotlight, so why are they running online to draw attention to themselves? To unleash the truth? It's nothing but airing their family's dirty laundry and creating more trouble for themselves and all the kids involved. Deal with your issues on your own time if you really want to make them better... whining to strangers about how your sister-in-law's mean to you is pathetic, as were Jodi's tears halfway through the video. It's sad all around.
