NO, Ive never had a fan blog of anyone. Ive never been a "fan" I used to watch the show but never was a FAN.

Let me ask you, what do you think of Jon's behavior since they split? I'm not impressed. His latest escapade is suing his ex-wife for primary custody so that she will in turn have to pay him child support. Judging from what we've seen lately, Kate is the one with money coming in right now, not Jon. Which explains his sudden change of heart. I wish that his intentions were honorable but I can't help remembering his whole 'I need my kids off of tv now' speech only to turn around and do live streaming of the twins b-day and then allow TLC to start filming them again.

I think Jons behavior is right on target with that of a freed abused and controlled spouse. I really wish hed get it together. He has dissapointed me so many times
Hes still the better parent and actually plays with them.

BTW Jon was happy at his Govt job, but Kate made him quit, so he could stay at home with her and help her then TLC sent her out on the tour.
Now TLC is preventing him for getting a job.

How od you know? Thus far--not a single credible piece of evidence has surfaced that his wife was cheating on him. So no--you cannot claim he is telling the truth.

Jon was telling the truth tha Kate broke up with him, not the other way around.

What happened to the rumor tha J & K were actually living separately but under one roof as an arrangement for 2 years prior to "separating" publicly? I thought that was partly true because of the rule that no one was allowed to enter their bedroom without permission.

Jon was sleeping in the basement at the old house, but they lied and said it was Alexis sleeping down there.
They broke up once before cupcakegate, then came back together.

I would support Kate and Jon suing TLC, and I hope they do one day in the future. I blame the network at least as much as the two yahoos for destroying the kids and the family. And I do feel sorry for both Jon and Kate in that regard.

The lies and deceit surrounding this whole mess are so thick, the truth may never fully come out. But, at least a light has been shown on the uncomfortable truth of selling children's lives for profit. I hope big money can't prevent us from stopping that.

that's not why I don't name mine... I live in a small town, was born in a small town (cue the Jon Mellencamp music ) and used my own name as my username on this message board... that's as much source as I'm gonna share and my sources aren't all that inside, anyway. Not a year later after the fact. LOL... I don't live in PA and have access to driving by where the Gosselins live or anything.

Wow, you have a lot of interesting info. I don't doubt any of it, really. I want to note that both of them spank the kids. I saw on one of the older episodes that Jon squeezed one of the girl's arms really tight and made her cry. I watched it over and over and I saw that he inflicted pain on the poor girl. So I'm sure they neither "spare the rod".

I feel bad for those kids, but there are kids out there who have it much much worse, so what can I say.

Honestly, it sounds like regurgitated GWOP rumours.

In other words...I'm having deja vu as I have heard all of this before. This poster isn't posting any new insinuations that I haven't already seen. It's not difficult to claim knowledge when what she is provided is pretty generic stuff.

I agree. They only showed us what they wanted us to see. ( I learned this right here on this board!)
ooohh. I forgot about the wooden spoons being photographed in the van and in the garage.
The truth may never fully come out. It's cool to hear from someone who has been near the family though. I wish just one person would have something positive to say about them. Someone who has worked with or near them "on the inside" that is. Or someone who loves them.

Given your situation (which you chose to bring up here as being similar to Kate's) there is a big difference in the fact that you are home with you children while their father is away. Unlike Kate who in the Inside Edition interview plainly stated that while she is away she is on the phone, texting back and forth with whoever is with the kids, that clearly means to me that it is not necessarily always Jon.

In the same interview, she goes on to say that the custody arrangement was the part that was civil. Something changed since that arrangement was made and it appears to me to be her career choices and the time away those jobs require.

Disagree with me all you want about her right to work and need to work etc. But for me, I am amazed that she has done a complete 180 degree turn on the care for the kids since they were little. Before flaming me, hear me out. It was widely reported and visible in the episodes that she kept everything very structured and organized to the point of practically being OCD. It seems that now she has had to loosen up those ways since she is not there 100% of the time. It makes me wonder if she realizes that the same control she now has to relinquinish was mostly at fault for the demise of her marriage.

My husband and I are not divorced.

You really cannot compare my situation with hers. He is not entitled to see them more than what they agreed to--which evidently is whatever Kate says. I don't agree with that.

But if his custody was weekends only, there is no reason it should have changed just b/c she travels for work.

In any case--she gets all this b/c she is a woman and she is mean. She doesn't get it for any other reason. It's actually sexist (and I'm far from a feminist and far from Kate's corner).

But that is ALL of television--including the news of the real world.

They show you what they want to see. But it is biographical. They are only conveying the elements that fits. Just b/c stuff goes to the cutting room floor, does not a conspiracy make.

As far as Kate's wine drinking? What an underhanded attempt at the public to insinuate that this is a problem.

Really? Are they there tossing back glasses with her? I don't think so. Nothing wrong with a nightly glass of wine or two.

I don't get up until 8am if I choose not too...and I don't drink wine nightly. (And this is even when I'm not preggers!)

It's laughable that that is used as ooooohhhhh evidence that TLC is hiding something. Hog wash. They showed their daily antics on the show. Very rarely did they show stuff at night unless there was a nighttime activity.

Maybe Kate doesn't know that Kevin & Jodi saw the kids.

I doubt that.


But a reminder--she didn't say they hadn't seen the kids...she says that she hasn't allowed them b/c any time they do they go to the media.

Sure enough, as far as we know--it was just the one time with Jon and they did indeed go to the media. Personally, it simply was not their place to do that--for as they say, the children covet their privacy and once again it got violated so that Jodi can show how sweet and missed she is.

For me personally, my impressions of her were not based on the media being hard on her. It was from witnessing first hand how she was on the series. I also realize that this is all with TLC exploiting a lot of the negative while it appeared that she did not have editorial influence.

I always thought it seemed (from the shows) that Jon did quite a bit. From bathing all the kids, to a lot of the manual labor of tasks around the house so I felt like things were more balanced since she made the decisions and took on the organizational burden.

Respectfully, unless you were there for filming, you didn't witness her first hand for anything.

You were actually watching it 2nd or 3rd hand. It was filmed, it was edited, it was aired---and you saw the picture. It doesn't mean you know her.

I have my opinions of her from watching the show--they are not praiseworthy and "Kate can do no wrong". I was never fooled. Perhaps it is my background. Perhaps it is the lack of tunnel vision when it comes to anything I See on tv that is NOT live (with no cutaways).

In any case--we can all claim that we just "know" based on what we see and read. The truth is, we simply do not have to capability to ever know.

Even those of us with sources.

Bingo! The truth is that Jon and kate and other parties involved each have their own perspectives and truths in the story. Each has their own side and I bet, somewhere in the middle, is where the real truth lies.

All we can do is speculate. Even eyewitness sources have their perception and biases. Im not a fan of either one of them and the only thing I believe is that we simply do not and will not know what the "truth" is. Its all relative.

Personally, Im just not one to take a reality show at face value and believe everything Im shown. Im just tired of the whining and poor me foolishness.
