Disagree with me all you want about her right to work and need to work etc. But for me, I am amazed that she has done a complete 180 degree turn on the care for the kids since they were little. Before flaming me, hear me out. It was widely reported and visible in the episodes that she kept everything very structured and organized to the point of practically being OCD. It seems that now she has had to loosen up those ways since she is not there 100% of the time. It makes me wonder if she realizes that the same control she now has to relinquinish was mostly at fault for the demise of her marriage.

All that cleaning etc was fake for the cameras. They have always had housekeepers etc since the show started...
CARLA actually was the PAID gardner and home organizer for Kate since the beginning.
Carla is the organizing queen.

Kate is not OCD.OCD is REPETITIVE rituals. Kate is just a control freak.

The kids are older, she is in a place she thought she'd never be in...getting a divorce. She does need to work. People are genuinely interested in how this family dynamic works with alot of kids. I have always felt she was rough on Jon because he wouldn't DO anything on his own. The pattern evolved that if the household was to run somewhat smoothly, she'd be the one to organize it. He became complacent in her making the decisions. Many households are like this, theirs was just on TV. She had to have tunnel vision due to the sheer volume of each household task. I don't fault her at all for this. Of course she's made mistakes. But I think the media is extremely hard on her. She is a very protective mama bear. I actually admire that.

Actually Jon did EVERYTHING in that house.
Kate just sat in her plastic chair and barked orders.
Jon was doing everything. Kate was mean to him ONLY cause he wasnt doing it HER way. Rewatch the show with an open eye.

If you have been following this thread for a while, you know what I think of unnamed sources

They must be paying people to watch DWTS too..they have had the highest audience since it started, with Kate on.

I cannot reveal my sources BUT people can say all this nice stuff about Kate on TV Interviews but they say the opposite in private.

They can't make people like her, and a lot of people do. There are as many blogs for her as against her.

I'll believe she's done when I see it for myself. I can't think of a single reason TLC would force her on us, instead of just finding the next Kate, if people weren't watching her and she wasn't bringing in the bucks for them.
The labor investigation certainly wasn't hidden.

As an industry insider has told me, Kate is oversaturated and people are sick of her. and that is why she is done.
TLC is trying to FORCE her on us all by putting her on all these shows.
Its a media blitz to drown out the TRUTH of the blogs and the labor investigation etc.
Its like spraying Lysol after you use the toilet, The stench is still there, but now it smells like roses.

Kate has said that divorce wasn't what she wanted but that Jon left her no other choice but to file.

Shortly after they bought the McMansion, TLC flew Kate to LA for MEDIA TRAINING and a **** job. You notice that there were a few episodes where it was primarily Jon alone with boxes still packed all over the house? That was cause Kate was in La recuperating from the **** job with Steve.
When she came home Jon said he felt as if her personality changed and that he suspected her and Steve were sleeping together.Shortly after that Kate came to him and told him their marriage was over BUT for the show they had to fake it. Then she continued to jet off for appearances, and book signings etc. I think Jon was truly crushed cause he had spent 10 years trying to make Kate happy and doing all the work and she broke up with him.
I think thats why he went bar hopping. He was the hurt party NOT Kate.

A few months later and TLC sued him to shut him up. CAUSE HE WAS TELLING THE TRUTH.

I'd love to see her do something apart from them too, like DWTS. Although that's not really a full time job! I just think that we (general we of course) have wrapped up her image with the kids and that most (not all) would rather see the kids than her on tv. Twist of Kate sounds like a bizarre concept, I'd think Kate would be more suited to an organizational type of show. Hey, maybe she could join Niecy Nash on that clean house show she does! Now THAT I would watch!

Kate doesnt wanna get her manicure dirty or do any real work.
She exploited her kids and destroyed he family to get to Hollywood and fame so she never has to work again. Do you really think she wil do an ORGANIZING show when she never organized to begin with? Put Carla on a organizing show.

I had the pleasure of meeting Carla's daughter Ashley when she was a student at Liberty University and was dating/friends with one of my students' brothers (I know it's like were sisters ). All of the above is true. Carla was an old family friend (not really Kate's) but indeed was on the TLC/Figure 8 payroll as a gardener/housekeeper and organizer. She stopped appearing on camera as a "family helper" (per Kate's request) and continued working behind the scenes. This was in the last house. I have no idea about the Estate.

You obviously have some kind of inside information here. Are you a previous employee of TLC or J&K? I can't imagine how else you would know this. (no snark intended)

As far as Kate dumping Jon, I tend to believe those reports that she said it was over first. As season 4 went on, you could SEE the anger and bitterness Kate had toward him (ie the breathing comment and famous coupon episode). She just looked annoyed that he was there. It was a difficult season to watch because I felt uncomfortable seeing a marriage with isssues like theirs.

Now, before the annoucement of their plans to separate, Jon was already courting his soulmate Hailey Glassman. He then went on the show during that infamous separation episode and said he was excited about this new chapter in his life. Tacky tacky tacky. I remember watching him and his face looked like restrained joy. Now, of course we don't know what went on behind closed doors with J&K but it's obvious to me that he was feeling like he'd been set free, even though he had 8 little ones at home.

Let me ask you, what do you think of Jon's behavior since they split? I'm not impressed. His latest escapade is suing his ex-wife for primary custody so that she will in turn have to pay him child support. Judging from what we've seen lately, Kate is the one with money coming in right now, not Jon. Which explains his sudden change of heart. I wish that his intentions were honorable but I can't help remembering his whole 'I need my kids off of tv now' speech only to turn around and do live streaming of the twins b-day and then allow TLC to start filming them again.

Before you think I'm pro-Kate, let me state that I think J&K are both ridiculous. They had a beautiful, healthy family that they flushed down the toilet for fame and fortune. I think they're both to blame...Kate was overbearing, controlling and annoying. Jon was a boy-child incapable of keeping a job with a tendency toward passive aggressive behavior toward Kate. For the record, I do think they love their kids but have let the almighty $ cloud their discernment.

Interesting. Wasn't Ashley the one who used to help out with the kids alot too? Carla was at the sextuplets 5th b-day party, right? WhitneyNC, you've been holding out on us!

You know, I don't have a problem with having a housekeeper, gardener, organizer. Goodness knows there are many days where I'd LOVE one for myself! But to *act* as if your'e doing all that when you're not, is misleading. Again, if Kate would come out and say 'yup, we've got tons of help because I want to focus on the kids and time with them instead of cleaning, gardening, cooking' I'd think no problem. Technically we don't know what it's like to have 8 children under 10 years old. I don't fault her for having nannies either but don't act like you're doing it all alone.

Now excuse me please, I have to go call DH at work and tell him that I want a maid, gardener, chef and babysitter for my kids!

How od you know? Thus far--not a single credible piece of evidence has surfaced that his wife was cheating on him. So no--you cannot claim he is telling the truth.

What happened to the rumor tha J & K were actually living separately but under one roof as an arrangement for 2 years prior to "separating" publicly? I thought that was partly true because of the rule that no one was allowed to enter their bedroom without permission.

I already told you why they are forcing her on us (to prevent a lawsuit)
HOWEVER, Ill give you one more, Kate has netted them $200 MILLION. She has made them lots of money and put them on the map.

Kate is not famous she is INFAMOUS. She is a trainwreck and that gets them lots of money, so they keep it up and they want to prolong the money train so they hired Steve to be a BUFFER between Kate and the public so if someone tries to ask Kate a question that may expose the lies they are trying to get the public to believe about her then Steve can just stop it and move her along. Steve is there to protect TLCs investment and prevent Kate from talking.

Kates whole career identity hedges on being a mom to 8. Kate has no real talents or interests so shes not worthy of a career on her own without everything being outsourced to others. Kate has not been a hands on parent in the past 3 years, if ever. Jon was always the one doing things at home. Or it was the hired helpers. Kate has not been at home for 2/3rds the time with the 8 kids for 2008 thru til today. Remember when Jon said that being a SAHD was CHOSEN for him? Thats cause Kate was the trainwreck star of J&K+8 and in order for TLC to make money off of her they had to promote her all over the country and in order to promote her and get her out there she just couldnt be a real supermom. So they hired nannies, housekeepers etc and convinced Jon to quit his Harrisburg job to stay hom with Kate and then sent Kate out on the road for her books, speaking tours etc They hoped you wouldnt notice that Kate wasnt shown being domestic anymore and overlook Jon doing everything. They substituted with lots of trips and freebies. And a lot of people bought it.

But the whole reason people watched the show was the bickering and the kids and Kates struggle with the kids. Now that they probably will never be able to film the kids again and Kate is no longer at home being a mom and Kate and Jon dont interact on the show, they need to lie about it and create a new Kate just long enough for you the public to BUY IT.
Theyve gone thru Can Do Kate, and Clean Slate Kate and now "Moms Can Have Fun Too Kate"
Nothing is working cause Kate on her own is nothing.

Oh and I didnt say the labor investigation was HIDDEN, its that TLC needed to hide it with an intense media blitz since the hearing happened. They want YOU the public to forget it ever happened and lie about it to you.
