I was alot more suprised by Pam Anderson than Niecy or Kate. I can't picture Pam Anderson on DTWS for the life of me for some reason. It certainly is an interesting cast this time around. Pam, Niecy, Kate and the Pussycat dolls girl is an interesting combo.

TLC and Jon settled???

Since ‘Jon & Kate Plus 8′ fell apart earlier this year, Jon Gosselin, TLC relations have gone from bad to worse. Both sides have been locked in litigation battles, suing one another for anything from breach of contract to abuse of child labor laws. Now, it seems that the feud may finally be coming to an end as both parties’ lawyers have indicated an imminent settlement. Jon & Kate have been steeped in drama ever since the show began, but that drama climaxed in the last few months as he allegedly breached his contract with his host network leading both sides to launch lawsuits against one another. And now what?

Initially, the Jon Gosselin, TLC litigation battle began with the network suing him for breach of contract and misinterpretation of facts, as he accepted paid interviews with Entertainment Tonight and the like. Without hesitation, the reality TV patriarch countered with a $5 million lawsuit accusing the station of withholding rightful payment for the series, breaching child labor laws, and coercing him into signing a “One sided contract.”

The battle was set to go to court in April if no settlement was reached. Now though, both sides seem to realize the mutual benefit of making amends.

“Jon has expressed his desire to close the litigation chapter of Jon & Kate Plus 8…He’s hoping that TLC will move forward with the best interest of the Gosselin family”

Said Mark Heller, the reality star’s lawyer.

“Sometimes litigants kiss and make-up, finding their relationship is much better the second time around. As Jon’s attorney, I truly hope that this new adventure for TLC and the Gosselins is a much more joyful journey.”

The Learning Channel validated the private settlement also, and made sure to confirm that “the whole Gosselin family remain under contract.” Whether or not that means Jon & Kate will be coming back to TV is another matter.

I checked Radar but didn't see anything yet - they usually seem to have the dirt....I think Jon's attorney's comment is kind of weird about hoping they can all have a better relationship the second time around....does Jon really think TLC will let him back on the air?? TLC does say, according to this, that they're all still under contract so I'm thinking the "Kate Plus 8" will show up as a series or as some specials.

Verrrry interesting...I guess that means both sides had valid points.

While I don't think I'd ever expect Z to say something complimentary about Kate, I'm pretty disappointed that she couldn't do a book on something other than her kids....

That's what I was thinking too. Based on the description of this book, it *appears* that it may be personal about the kids. But, I could be totally wrong and perhaps it is a book where Kate is talking more about herself and her struggles. Like I said, I'm curious to see what it's actually about. I just hope it's not more info. about her little ones, goodness knows we all know too much about them already.

Isn't it crazy--it's EVERYWHERE!

I remember at Christmas, the sales clerk at Macy's was trying to get me to buy the Ed Hardy cologne for DH. I was shopping for cologne and though it did smell good...I just could.not.do.it. Nooooooo Ed Hardy.



I posted on the DWTS thread--I don't envision Kate doing well. I thought I recall her mentioning how uncoordinated she is and I recall the Vtech commercial she did that featured her voice over. It was professionally awful.

I think she will struggle with the intimate/romantic latin dances--except maybe for the Paso Doble (she's the bull attacking Jon the bullfighter) and with any highly technical dance i.e the Quick step.

I think Kate does have a wide range of emotions, but I just don't feel that she will be able to emote properly as the character in any dance (again--except for the bull going after the bullfighter).

Not a Kate bash--but my opinion based on how she has presented herself. Their have been some other celebs that I shared equal opinions--though I only had those opinions after seeing them dance as I had no prior knowledge of them on a personal level.

I saw on one of the shows that Kate is building a dance studio in her house so she can practice while the kids are in school and after they go to bed at night. I'm wondering who is paying for the studio? And I can't imagine having all those kids including 3 little boys around those big dance mirrors. I'm actually looking forward to the premier. Looking for the perfect cocktail to have.

I never watched DWTS, but I will now.

I knew Doris was in WDW, but I didn't know others were.
Sure was cold, but the daytime sun was warm.
We stayed down the street from Sea World, and usually I never had problems with traffic. But all the news stations truck/satellites were parked up on the sides and in the medium, and it took a while to get through. How do news trucks get away with parking like that. I couldn't park in the medium, and walk into Sea World.

This was our first dis cruise and my first assumed noro experience. Bad news is, I ate wayyy too much on the cruise, good news is, thanks to this virus, I lost 5 pounds!
Looking forward to chatting with you guys about DWTS! How much fun is this going to be?

Do you think you caught the noro on the cruise ship or at WDW. I just saw a RCCL reported one of their ships had the noro down in south america. Hope you are feeling better. Me and my dh ended up with colds. I told him, it was from pushing the elevator button and not walking the one flight of stairs.

That's pretty funny! I'm actually a bit neurotic with elevator buttons and have taught my girls to always use their knuckle to push the button!

Here's something I thought I was funny. It's in reference to Kate on DWTS.
