No need to 'feel sorry' for those of us who are planning on watching. The idea that there is tragedy in this at this time is your opinion, and believe it or not, not everyone sees it the same way as you. It hasn't even been on yet, and so I'll make my judgement call once I see it. If I think the kids look used or sad, or if the more personal parts are being shown. I'll base if I will continue watching it on that. .
Oh absolutely. What I said, if I may repeat the content of my last post, was that I feel sorry for those "who still want to pretend that this family is either *real* or functional, and want to watch for entertainment." I certainly know that some people do not agree with me, but am entitled to voice my opinion openly here, perhaps without being either patronized or insulted. I use my judgement too, and I am far from stupid.
If people want to keep watching to keep tabs on the well-being of the Gosselin kids, that is fine by me. Go for it, but try to look at it objectively. Focus on the kids, not the parents. Supposedly "unfair" treatment of Kate by viewers is not the issue; the well-being of the children is. I'll be watching for legislation, myself, because it is clear that Kate wants to film those kids whether they like it or not -- and Jon is fine with that.

But while we are indulging in idle speculation about Collin's hands and coat being over his face because he was perhaps, as DMRick speculates, crying, licking chocolate off his hands, or avoiding the sun, why not consider a much more obvious possibility -- he didn't like the paps and was hiding from them?
The Gosselin kids are our equivalent of the Dionnes. We know how they felt about losing their childhoods. Why are the Gosselins so different? Why should their childhoods be sacrificed for our entertainment?
