Is there a video of Jon on ET (from tonight) anywhere?
I am sure Jon has thought it through and I am sure he thinks this is what he wants but when he has to go back to work full time and he is having to work in a office, I am sure he will regret his choices. He comes across as someone who gets by, that is my opinion and so him going back to a office job just does not seem to fit with him.
EXCLUSIVE: Jon & Kate Plus 8 Will End Officially In NovemberEXCLUSIVE:
Posted on Oct 14, 2009 @ 04:13PM
Jon & Kate Plus 8 will officially end in mid to late November, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.
Inside Jon And Kate's Hearing
TLC has not made an announcement but RadarOnline.com has confirmed with sources outside the network that there is just enough unused new footage to take them through about another month.

"They will eek out what they can in terms of more shows," a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com. "Obviously they are not shooting anymore so they are taking what they have and seeing how many more episodes they can get out of it."
Jon Gosselin has told the network they no longer have his permission to film the children and TLC will not challenge that. If Jon changes, his mind, they will go into production on the new show, Kate Plus 8.

"TLC has no plans to film unless the situation is resolved," the source told RadarOnline.com.
Considering that the Gosselin divorce has turned into all-out war, it doesn't seem like Jon and Kate can resolve anything without a judge present, so prepare to say goodbye to original episodes of the show.

So if for the arbitration yesterday, they each went to seperate rooms with their attorneys, is that what Jon meant in his tweet "the court divided my family?" Maybe he thought they would sit together for the arbitration?
I can't believe anyone thinks Jon still loves Kate....as in "get back together and be a married couple again" love her? I don't see it all.

I also saw the old episode and thought the same thing. I don't care if TLC or some other agency paid for them to go to ElSalvador. That was a mission of compassion and a way to show children how lucky they are to live in America. This would never happen with the Gosselin's. Camping in the backyard with the brand new tents and sleeping bags was as close to this kind of thing for them. J & K are all about themselves and what they can get for free. My daughters friend just went on a medical mission to Guatemala and it cost her $2,000 for expenses--and this was staying at an orphanage. She raised some of the money with fundraising, but this was a big thing for a college student.
So the Gosselin's had a garage sale and sold everything that was donated to them in the first place and donated some "donated toys" to St. Jude's hospital, nice gesture, however, nothing special for all that they have been given. That was one thing brought up about Kate over and over--just how ungrateful she really is!!!
I guess you can. I know there are a lot of people who would like to take their kids to El Salvador for mission work. It's all our church families can do to scrape up enough money to send one missionary family. Maybe when the Gosselin kids are older, TLC will pay for them to do that too, instead of just having garage sales for pediatric cancer and bringing toys to St Jude's. Of course then they would be at fault because people would say they were taking their children to an unsafe area. That was a wonderful opportunity that the Duggar family got, with no small amount of thanks to TLC, I'm sure.
Welcome back, I've missed this being repeated over and over again... not LOL.
Not here yet, because it also airs later -- but the promo on the ET site has the gist of the conversation about the court decision.
THANK GOD!!!! Finally! Even though it is obvious that Jon is doing this for selfish and spiteful reasons. and if he was a good father, he would have done this years ago......at least it is the right desicison! Even if it is for the wrong reasons...thank goodness! maybe the kis have a shot at a semi-normal life! (well, not with these two selfish losers, but at least it won't be televised!)
Thank goodness TLC has finally seen the light and won't contest it! Finally they realize that they were losing us in their exploitive ways!
If you would like to make a contribution to the Gosselin Familys TAP account, you can do so by making your check payable to TAP 529, writing Gosselin in the memo portion of the check, and sending your contributions to: Gosselin Sextuplets and Twins Accounts, TAP Bureau, 218 Finance Building, Harrisburg, PA 17120. More information on the Tuition Account Program can be obtained by calling 1-800-440-4000 or by visiting the Treasury website and clicking on Tuition Account Program.
So the 2and 6 year old should have asked to do a mission project in El Salvador in order for us to like their parents? I thought for their age, they were taught sharing their wealth pretty good. They didn't have to give away the money for their toys, clothes, etc. no matter how they got them. They said on that show they do that yearly. They didn't have to sit there and sell lemonade. How the heck can you compare the kids on the Duggars with the Gosselins for a mission trip. I wonder, would they have gone on that mission trip with so many of them if they were paying for it? What more did you think the little kids should have done? Maybe gone out and dug ditches? They are little kids. Hopefully, by the time they are teens this will all be a memory and they won't be on TV with the world watching them during their most sensative time.
Maybe the Duggars can donate all of their pay from TLC, to the poor in El Salvador since they aren't doing the show for gain.
Apples and oranges.

I have to agree with you mousey. Kate has been called on the carpet before for her less than 'gracious' attitude. Madge, didn't you say when Kate was in your area that the locals weren't too thrilled with her? Or something to that effect?
Eyes for lies posted a brief comment regarding the arbitrator's ruling. She calls Jon a ticking time bomb (specifically a time bomb about to implode).
She has a pretty good track record and I must say when I read her latest comment, I'm a bit haunted at the vibes she is getting.
My vibes are not that strong, but I am not a human lie detector.

It doesn't matter how they got there. You can't compare it to what J & K might have done..their children are young.
She was there for hours...we saw a short period. Even in the amount of time we saw, at some times she was very happy and smiling. I just saw the show a couple weeks ago, and I remember it well. Yes, she was upset about the sign. That's Kate and many other people.
Does it matter who paid for the toys? They went and picked them out and wrapped them. It was a learning experience for the kids, just as the El Salvador show was for the Duggars. No money out of either pockets. And the books were not given to the little kids. Toys were.
So should I assume that TLC did not pay for the time the Duggars helped with the house and they were taping? They prob gave supplies as well, to tape it. You can't compare what the Duggars do, to the Gosselins, unless the Duggars older 5 or 10 are not in the show and they do these types of things with the little kids. They are two different shows. Both getting paid with a show neither family would have if not for their children.
I wish the Duggars show would show their disciplining when they teach their youngest kids. I wonder what all of you (you general you) would be saying then. I watch the Duggars, I appreciate their Christian work..however, I don't compare it to J & K's show. TLC wants different things for each of these shows and IMO it shows.
You quoted me, so I'll answer. I do not think it makes it better. In fact, as I've said before, I think it makes it worse. They should know better than to put their children out there publicly. There are lots of ways to get the Word out. I don't happen to think this is one of them. Yes, they have a nice family, and yes, we don't see them argue..but that doesn't mean they don't. It doesn't mean they don't firmly punish their children. It just means we see what TLC wants us to see, or what the Duggars have agreed to let be shown.because the Duggars use their powers for good instead of evil, that makes it better? the kids are still the draw for their show, same as the Gosselins. In the end, it's all contrived reality, IMO. .
