She should of got the gas before the Starbucks! Doesn't it seem likes she is always filling up her gas tank?? I swear she gets gas 3 times a week. Maybe her tank only holds 1 gallon.

Yes it is odd but she has odd parents. They named her Katie Kreider.

Kate is the second child & her mother was only 17 when Kate was born. The father is 9 years older than the mother. He was a grown man with a teenage girl.

I'd double-check your facts and, if you can, quote the source of this info. As Kate is the third child that categorical statement that her mother was only 17 when Katie Irene (what is so wrong with that name?) was born seems suspect.

Not to pick on you, but so many things seem to be stated as *fact* re. the Gosselins. And so many *facts* are disputed.

I'm awaiting the judge's judgement re the divorce, and the results of the State of PA's labor laws investigation re. filming.

I'm tired of speculating on the inaccurate info that the Gosselin parents/lawyers/TLC are leaking to the press.

I just keep hoping that someone (anyone) is looking out for those children. They should have a Guardian ad Litem. Now!

My oldest son is 19, and he has a friend from school that is on baby #2. I can't imagine being younger than that.

Quite awhile ago, long before the seperation, before they even moved into the new house, I read an article from a PA newspaper online that had a picture of Kate's parents. Under the picture was their names and ages, her father was 10 years older than her mom. I remember the age difference. I've looked but I can't find the article.

no. I think we established them to be one of the "Nana" people .. or the people they saw when they went back to Jon's hometown for the July 4th parade. I remember looking at video from that episode and the pictures matched.

Her legal name is Katie Irene. That's how she was known in school. Maybe that is why she doesn't like her parents.

I saw the story about the gas station earlier today .. and I'm going to actually give Kate the benefit of the doubt on this one. There are a number of reasons why a card didn't work at the pump. Sometimes cards just don't work.. with no logical explanation at all.

Yep, and I don't see her being the type to "shake her fist" at the sky over it. She would be more the slam the car door and throw a hissy fit type.

It's that something? I was surprised too. One of the sisters is on FB too. Interestingly, she isn't on her mom's FB friends list.

I found a picture of Kate's sister Christen, but her kids are in it, so I don't want to post it. Her sister makes really beautiful silver jewelry.

I'm sure the Duggars are nowhere near the record. When I was growing up (in Southern Ontario) we had a family living near us with 21 children, all born to the same two parents (no adoptions). Our schoolbus would be half-empty until we pulled up in front of that house and then all the kids would pile in. And there were other very large families around as well.

I agree. My mom had 22 brothers and sisters for a total of 23. All but one survived to a pretty old age.
