I did not bother to follow it up and google to find the correct link (and I'm sure it is there) because these people are becoming a giant yawn for me.

My interest is in the well-being of those 8 small children who are being lost in the shuffle.

Anyone else hope that the parents will pay proper attention to them sometime soon? Anyone else hope that the parents will shut up?

Calling the Judge . . . GAL appointment and a gag order would seem very overdue.

As much as I'd love them to stick a sock in their mouths and pipe down--I don't believe gag orders should be issued unless their is a compelling reason.

Even with these yahoos--I see no reason that a divorce needs a gag order...unless one party would like to shush the other. But when one side petitions for a gag order, they would have to have a compelling reason to shush the other.

I feel bad for the kids--but I don't believe parenting should be legislated.

And with no more cameras in the house--we can stalk Jon and Kate's schedule all we want, but we have no evidence that they are neglecting the kids.

Many parents travel--many parents work--many parents go on kid free vacations or whatever.

I'm not going to expect nor require special Jon and Kate laws that dictate what they can and cannot do just b/c they have 8 kids.

I wouldn't want a court to dictate my comings and goings if I am breaking no laws.

They're idiots--but being an idiot isn't illegal.

ITA. I'm a lurker but have followed the show and completely agree that they are NOT doing anything in the best interest of the kids. Jon & Kate's 15 minutes of fame are OVER. They need to focus on the children and not fame. If I never saw anything else about them it would be ok.

And BTW, Kate now wants to do movies?????

She's described as a "fame seeker".. So because she has claimed that Jon is/was emotionally abusive to her, I guess that makes it "true"?

Not a question directed at you - redrosesix - just a general comment about "which" fame seekers are believed to be telling the truth and which ones aren't - such as Jodi & Kevin..

I hope sow -- don't forget Mark Heller, the manager that asked for $12,000 plus expenses for Jon to do a radio show in NY. Rather than making his client look good, Mark Heller made Jon look like a duffus (and he was doing that just fine on his own already)

I agree with the GAL -- they should have had that all along. A gag order may be difficult for either Jon or Kate to get, although I wouldn't be surprised if TLC asks for one if they ever go to court.

I don't think she is telling the truth...rather embellishing it and making it worse than it is "at best'.

Hence why I joked (though it got missed) about Jon suing her for defamation of character. Likely he will not do that, but certainly Kate can use the information against him in a divorce/custody dispute.

So if it weren't true--it certainly is defamation of character as it can negatively impact him if it were believed.

I think anything Hailey said was at least an exageration, if not a lie. Remember, this is the girl who got completely upset at Jon for taking his mom to Vegas instead of her. And then she sent her friends to the tabloids to make sure everybody knew how upset she was.

IMO, Jon probably made the mistake of saying it was more important to spend time with his kids than with her, or told her he couldn't take her somewhere because it fell on his custody days.

And despite Jon's apology, I'm pretty sure he told her privately he didn't want her to go to the media instead of him if she had an issue.

I'm thinking most here think most if not all, of the people are in this race to be the biggest idiot/attention seeker contest winner, and that this was Hailey's 15 minutes. Most everyone wants a piece of the 'fame'. Just like with the others that wanted attention from this show..show me some proof and then I'll believe you. Otherwise, step to the back of the line for your 15...a lot came before you, they'll be a lot after you.

Of course her story might garner more attention, since she's Jon's soul-mate of the minute...or was.

How much can it cost to file papers in court? She is a waitress, It's not like he is suing the National Inquirer. If she is telling lies about him over & over why not at least attempt to scare her off.

He probably told her he couldn't take her to the amusement park to play, because he had to take his kids there first He had to pick and choose which kids to spend time with, and she lost.

After a tumultuous week of dueling public statements from Jon Gosselin and his girlfriend, Hailey Glassman, reports surfaced that the couple have split – but a source tells PEOPLE the situation is not cut-and-dried.

"This was all a carefully orchestrated sequence: First, Hailey laments how hard her life has been lately and how bad Jon treats her, then Jon repents. Next, Jon plans to announce that he is going to be spending some time alone," the source tells PEOPLE. "It has all been designed so that it doesn't seem as though Hailey got dumped."

As for whether the pair are actually over, the source says it remains to be seen. "Jon has said he was done [with Hailey] before, but he basically hasn't been single since he was 19 ... He doesn't really know how to be alone. He'll probably still spend most of his time either with Hailey, or some new girl."

On Wednesday, Glassman opened up about her relationship with the reality star dad, telling The Insider that he was frequently angry and emotionally abusive. "He'll call me and take his anger out on me," Glassman, 22, said. "He has 'mantrums.' .... I cry and say, 'Why are you so mean to me?' "

Still, she insisted that she wanted to stay with the father of eight. "I don't want to leave him all alone," she said. "When I love someone I would never hurt them."

A day later, Gosselin apologized to his girlfriend, saying in a statement, "I am grateful for her emotional support and I regret any pain that my actions have caused her."

Gosselin then announced that he planned to reconnect with his "deeper, more spiritual, more altruistic self" by studying with celebrity Rabbi Shmuley Boteach. "I have allowed myself to become somewhat severed from my own moral anchor and [to] be carried away by the challenges of fame," Gosselin, 32, said Friday.

Boteach seemed to foreshadow the couple's possible decision to spend time apart. "A husband must be faithful and he cannot be with another woman (while still married) and he cannot humiliate his wife by being photographed with other women," he said Friday. "Jon has to take responsibility for that and ask for forgiveness."

Added the rabbi, "For example, he should not be with Hailey Glassman right now and when things are resolved with his wife, then he should think about that."

A rep for Gosselin had no comment.

Jon is not going to sue Stephanie no matter what she says and even it was free. I 100% believe she kept every text and email he sent her and if he sues her every single one will come out. Jon does not want that.

They have been all over the country on the show. They went on a road trip for a few weeks last year. There was a WDW show too

They went to Disneyland, it was part of cross country road trip... they also visited the Grand Canyon.

In another email to Jon’s camp the production company states that they envision shooting Jon back east, getting him ready to go to LA for his date with Octo-Mom. They say that they would love to have Hailey in the show upset and unsure about this “whole blind date
thing”. They say that once Jon makes it to LA they’ll shoot them finally meeting up at her house and going out to “a local restaurant and movie or something”. They say they envision the shooting taking 1-2 weeks and go on to say “Pretty easy work for a million dollars”.

I saw that earlier. I'm just not sure I buy all that. I just can't fathom being that completely devoid of sense and judgement.

ETA: I've seen it mentioned on another site that there is a possbility that those emails are bogus. We'll see.
