Don't know if this was ever brought up before....

Last night I was watching the 1st part of the skiiing trip to Utah. During the part where they are stuck on the plane, Steve the bodyguard was sitting right behind Kate on the plane. I never noticed that before.

Missed the 1st part of the Larry King interview, but Larry King is repeated later tonight.

Jon Gosselin just wants to be an average Joe.

"I wish I had a 9-to-5 job instead of the nightmare I'm living. This is 24/7," the 32-year-old reality TV dad told US Magazine Monday. "I don't even want to do taping for the show anymore."

Citing burnout over his contract commitments and the endless promotional appearances, Gosselin implied that, at $75,000-per-episode, he feels underpaid.

"I have two houses and eight children to take care of, and I need to work," the sour Gosselin said as he helped his kids with a lemonade stand to benefit a local fire department.

Does he honestly think he can find a 9-5 job that is going to pay more than his "underpaid" $75k per episode?

I think I could handle one or two of those episode payments and be good. Of course, I don't have two expensive houses (just one reasonably-priced one). And I don't have eight children either.

But still. Saying he is underpaid and needs to work is kind of "off."

I did see in the promo as I was flipping through that Kathie Lee is going to be on... she's not been Kate's biggest fan. I wonder if that is still the case?

Kate was in LA to interview for a talk show, per one of the blogs.

I absolutely cannot stand Kathie Lee Gifford, they way she speaks and moves her hands just drives me nutso, but I watched her for the first five minutes because Larry asked her about Kate and she didn't seem too friendly or supportive. She said she thought Kate's life would be easier away from the cameras and she never had cameras in her home except for a Christmas special.

I thought the interview went well. Larry was tough on her compared to the last two interviews she had. Asking her why she hesitated before saying that Jon was a good father was good. And how they could come from vow renewals to divorce in a year was blunt. Larry didn't seem to know Kate was a control freak and it was pretty amusing seeing Kate find it funny that he must be the last person on earth to not know that she is one. She seems to be hurting but determined to move forward and not dwell on what went wrong.

I might have misheard but I think Larry mentioned that Jon declined to give a statement and decline to appear on the show (Larry King Live). I wonder why? I thought he wanted to do he E! interview to tell his side..

I can't imagine TLC would let Jon do LKL when they wouldn't let him do E! (Which I think would have been a taped interview). So I think he declined to avoid huge fines for breach of contract. I'm not attributing any gallant motives to his decision, but I would understand if he was bitter, especially if the Kate/TLC story of the separation is as far from the truth as it appears to be.

The pictures of Kate with the paps are brutal! Is it night time? Why does she have glasses on her head? (that's just a pet peeve of mine!)

Kids at the game - I only saw Mady and Cara and two of the boys right?? Who was with the others or did I miss them in the pictures?

I missed LKL last night...forgot to DVR. Maybe it'll be on in a rerun or something... Glad to hear he was tougher - I think, JHMO, that you should answer the questions you're asked - and not censor them prior to agreeing to the interview - unless they're totally inappropriate.

I only watched a clip of the Larry King interview. Kate still said "um" but she seemed more in control of her speech. As a side note, I thought she sure looked good. Even with the crazy hairdo.

There is not a story as of yet.

Is is 100% confirmed TLC stopped Jon's interview? I thought when the interview was cancelled he decide not to do it since she was so nice in her interview It was really tame.... especially knowing what Kate is capable of.

Jon does dumb things but I think he realizes he screws up when it is pointed out.

Kate Gosselin to sub as a co-host on `The View'

NEW YORK – ABC is adding Kate Gosselin (GAHS'-lihn) to the list of guest co-hosts for "The View."

Celebrity mom Gosselin will be subbing for regular "View" co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck on Sept. 14 and 15. Hasselbeck is on maternity leave after giving birth to her third child, Isaiah, earlier this month.

Gosselin, the mother of twins and sextuplets, co-stars with her estranged husband on TLC's reality series "Jon & Kate Plus 8."

ABC has previously announced Meghan McCain, E.D. Hill and LaToya Jackson as guest co-hosts for the daytime talk show

Thanks for the link. No earth shattering news, but hey. Kate has this stupid habit that I hate. It seems like it's the thing to do these days... ask yourself questions and then answer them, rather than just making a point. For example:

Hmmm, I wonder how the View thing is going to work. Joy is very outspoken and I see her asking all sorts of questions to Kate. They seem to talk about anything and everything. I don't think Joy, Whoopie, or Sherri will censor what they say or ask. This will be interesting.

Well when you think about it, she's no different than Elizabeth Hasselback who was a reality star as well.
