I'd say you're probably right, but lately, he's not be so good with the interviews.... I'm not sure he'll know who she is, even though she's been on his program before. Larry has been botching names and details for a while now.

I think TLC is desperate to keep this family in the news and they probably figure that Kate could handle Larry King. I'm interested to see if when the shows like Oprah and Dr. Phil come off hiatus that she appears there. I could see Oprah asking her the tough questions that people are curious about and she doesn't want to answer.
Although if Jon continues with his ways, the show might not last long enough for her to get on these talk shows because there will be no need.
I just don't understand that if Jon was behaving this bad, she doesn't come out and say so!

Because people would just say, hey, the way she was to him, who blames him. Or, they'll say, gee, he's not talking dirt about her, but she is about him. Or they'll say, she shouldn't have pretended (even though in real life many people pretend to have a good marriage) to the viewers. It doesn't matter what she says, it's never the right thing in many people's eyes.

I wonder what magazine cover she's shooting in LA that she couldn't/wouldn't/whatever word you want to use .. in NYC? It seems like a long trip for two things that could be done closer to home. Not that it's any of my business, I'm just curious. LOL

I think if it is a substance abuse problem she may have been hoping it would get better or he would stop. She maybe did not want anyone to know incase they got back togther. But with the way he is acting she might be too mortified to take him back. This is my guess

Reality-show trainwreck Jon Gosselin, of "Jon & Kate Plus 8," bailed on a paid nightclub appearance at Foxwoods over the weekend. The tabloid regular had a deal with the MGM Grand club Shrine to show up on Saturday night, but Gosselin cancelled at the last minute, saying through his agent that he didn't want a paid nightclub visit to damage what's left of his image. As if he reputation could get any worse.

Gosselin apparently told the nightclub that his surprise appearance at Shrine and the Foxwoods nightclub Scorpion Bar earlier in the week should satisfy his contractual obligation. Staffers, who seem to have little loyalty to Gosselin after he skipped Saturday's gig, tell us that when he showed up unexpectedly at the clubs last Tuesday, confusing employees who expected him days later, Gosselin ended the night by taking a few women up to his hotel room. One staffer, a server at Shrine who says she was invited up to the room, claims that Gosselin made out with one of the women and then asked that any photos taken of the evening's events not be posted on Facebook. Classy, yes? No word on what Gosselin was supposed to be paid for the Saturday appearance or if he'll get his money.

Reality-show star Jon Gosselin continues to star in the tabloid columns, this time for where he didn’t show up and when.

Gosselin, 32, -- of "Jon and Kate Plus 8" fame -- apparently didn’t show up for a paid appearance at Foxwoods casino over the weekend, the Boston Globe reports.


Gosselin did, however, go last Tuesday to the Scorpion Bar and Shrine Nightclub at the MGM Grand and partied the night away with girlfriend Hailey Glassman, 22, New York Post's Page Six reports.

One hotel staffer even claims that Gosselin made out with one of the women he was partying with and then asked that any of the photos taken that night not be posted on Facebook.

Glassman has said that Gosselin is her first love. If you’re not keeping track in this steamy story, Glassman is the daughter of Kate Gosselin’s tummy-tuck surgeon. She has dismissed speculation that her relationship with a man 10 years older played any part in Gosselin ending his 10-year marriage to Kate.

Going back to the missed appearance at Foxwoods on Saturday night, the reality-show star -- or train wreck as some call him -- claims he canceled at the last minute because he didn’t want a paid nightclub visit to damage what’s left of his image. Concerned about his image now? Really?

According to his people, Gosselin thinks his surprise visit during the week should satisfy his contractual obligation. There’s no word if he’ll get the money he was supposed to from the casino.

These days, being a Gosselin kid means that one Gosselin parent is always coming or going, and if they happen to be in the same space for too long, somebody calls the police. But luckily for the entire Gosselin clan, Jon's recent homecoming was relatively peaceful and the kids seemed happy to have him back at their Pennsylvania home base. We're just happy to see photos of him that don't involve him hitting on yet another questionable younger woman.


Jon Gosselin was photographed on Sunday in his driveway, hugging his children and greeting his dogs after spending ten days away from them. Everyone looked happy to see each other. We just really wish that Jon's time away from his children wasn't spent parading around in his Ed Hardy t-shirts, hitting on anything that moves, and lining up one irritating social event after another - it makes it hard to have warm feelings towards him even when he's hugging his adorable kids. And we already can tell that his upcoming Vegas pool party is going to bring out some of the cheesiest D-listers around. Yes, we're talking to you Michael Lohan.)


As for the Gosselin children, it seems the stress of their parents' failed marriage is starting to take its toll. Despite everyone being happy to have Jon back, one of the sextuplets was photographed in his arms crying shortly after being reunited with him. And days before, Kate Gosselin took Mady, one of the twins, out for a day of pampering only to have her emerge later in tears. Kate reportedly did her best to comfort the more temperamental of the twins but it was to no avail. Of course, it's impossible to know if Mady's tears were in relation to a bad day at the spa or to her parents' highly publicized divorce...but we have trouble believing the divorce doesn't have at least a little something to do with it.


On the bright side, hopefully being home for a while will keep Jon on his best behavior. Although there's really no way of telling considering his rumored tendency to get it on with the babysitter...

Yes, there are many different types of abuse.

I really wondered about this when I heard something said about she put the tups back into their cribs if they got out for a couple extra hours ? Not sure if that is true or not. Made me cringe. Also heard someting that Jon has tons of documentation he can pull out on Kate's parenting. Tups hide when she is screaming on a tangent ? All the time that kids spend filming or preparing to film is too much "work" . They are missing a lot of normal time that kids have to have normal fun experiences in the home. The last house was a true film set / all of it. Kate's made comments such as my kids know how to behave in front of a camera / w/ mikes. That isn' t normal at all. Why do the kids have to "behave" and not just be kids if they are in front of a camera ? I mean isn't that working ? If this camera was just filming them candidly and no action was required of them, as Kate says, then why do the tups know how to "behave " ? It's a lot more work than it looks like , is my guess. The stress of it has to be high and then the tups have to deal with having parents go at it / cause they are over stressed from the filming . I understand why they did what they did to make money. I do not fault them. They made money the only way they knew how. I do think they have made enough that they can take some risks and try some other ways to make money that doesn't involve the kids. The kids deserve a more normal / happy life.

She said the "penalty" for letting themselves out of their cribs was that they had to go back in for a certain amount of time. I don't think it was hours though. The other three got to go play outside because they had waited for her to go get them.

I think it was for 45 extra minutes. I remember b/c she didn't get them up until 8 or 9 (when she got up), then they napped from 12 -4. I thought it was very regimented but I guess it would have to be with 6, kind of like daycare. That's just the way it is.

The pictures on Radar of the spa trip are of Kate and Cara, not Kate and Mady. Although their article say it's Mady too, it's definitely Cara.

As for the Jon at Foxwood's thing, why would he think just showing up on Tuesday would full fill his "obligation" for his Saturday night appearance? Clubs pay "celebrities" to show up so they can promote the fact they will be there (why anyone would care that Jon is there is beyond me ) Kinda hard to promote something you don't know about...like Jon showing up on Tuesday instead of Saturday.

Just like on the show..he gets his little digs in, but he's quiet about them. Can you imagine if Kate wore the same shirt?

She doesn't call him names or anything (at least not in print!) but her last People article was about Jon and listed out her issues with him. (the babysitter, how she hopes he is haunted one day by his actions etc) The quote says she doesn't talk about Jon. She does and often. Now on the other hand, so far as I know, Jon has never talked about Kate in a negative way. but I didn't read his articles.

Does he not smile when he's with the kids? I flipped through a good handful of the pictures and there was no smile to be seen - even with the young girls.... And the shirt? Really Jon...if there are so many "lies, lies, lies, lies" set it straight. You've said time and time again you're "excited" about your "new life" and Hailey's told the world you're not under Kate's control any more so share it instead of stupid little shirt. Sorry...I'm kind of witchy today This garage sale prep and bunk bed shopping along with school and work has me on the edge this week!
