Question - to those direct members who have gotten gold water bottles - did you just get 1 when you purchased or did you get 2? I guess I assumed we'd get 2 but the box came today and there's just 1 in there.

I also found it interesting that the certificate listed the date of our original (resale) purchase from 2023.

I've never taken any of mine out of the box. They are lame IMO. There are so many other token gifts they could give that would be more appreciated.

Our guide told us we’d get another one when we added on but we didn’t. No biggie, it was a small add on. We do use it though, the seal is good enough that I trust it in my bag once we get through TSA at the airport.

Yeah the color and the items are both just blah. I bet most are still in the box TBH. Gold is outdated, someone must have ordered way too many, that is the only valid explanation.

WAIT I have a counter DP. I got one per contract added in the same transaction. Say I added a 100 point contract I would only get one. When I split that 100 points into two separate 50 point contracts I got two. Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket

Love that. My son, who works at wdw will text “so and so is coming to visit, can you get us a room for a night or two?” (All my kids have 50 pt contracts but their names are not on them yet, I do all the booking for them)
Me: “Sure! What are the dates?”
Son: “Either tomorrow or the next night.”
Me: this is why I control the points

My husband said he might end up using the water bottle on our trips. But we'll see. He's not a huge fan of the type of top is has. I don't mind the gold but I think that's because it triggers memories from Disneyland's 50th Anniversary for me.

The mail carrier just dropped off my gold water bottle. DH loves swag, so I sent him a pic. He's all excited. He can have it. I have enough water bottles to drown a small village.
