I think it sad for Jon to talk about losing his 20s but he's made that claim during this over and over. Didn't we all (who married in our 20s) "lose" our 20s? If you are married you don't act like a single person does. I don't get his arguement at all. If you had kids in your 20s, your life really changes. His is a ridiculous complaint to me.

And so, Kate wouldn't "let" him go out? And he stood up to her by going
out" and doing guy stuff? Is that what he says happened?

Yup. Jon is proud of himself for "finally putting his foot down and standing up to her."

IMO, the quotes we heard earlier didn't sound nearly as bad in the full interview -- sensationalism, I think -- except for the one about despising Kate. I still don't quite understand what he was saying there.

I think it's been ok so far. He's handling himself pretty well. Interesting (but not surprising) that there was more to the exchange about saying you despise Kate. The mother shouldn't be criticized was followed up, by Jon, with neither should the father.

what I understand him to mean is that he despises her right now, for what she's saying. Kate is saying one thing in private and something else in public. And he's angry about that.

I could be completely wrong about that.

It's refreshing to hear honesty instead of carefully scripted responses. I don't agree with everything Jon has done by any means, but I've got to give him kudos for that. He's keeping it real.

He said they met with Dr. Phil and it was talk about saving the "brand" not about saving the marriage. Dr. Phil released a statement saying "no comment, he was going to respect their privacy."

I thought Chris Cuomo did a really good job. And I think Jon did as well as he could have.

The kids aren't forced to film?! We are going on a ski trip so if you want to go then you have to be filmed. You want a new playhouse, okay, but the cameras are going to be there...
