I don't think she's lying - I think she honestly believes the crap she spouts. I think she thinks Jon does nothing and has all the help in the world but when it's her "turn" life is just harder because she is an amazing supermom that works so hard and does everything right.

Good point. My SIL was something like her -- hated being home with the kids, thought she worked harder than my brother because she disliked it so much. And yes, she was a germophobic, cranky B.

So...now she's a cop and everybody's happy.

I believe on the Today show whoever it was stated that Kate said while they were not living physically apart, they had been living separate lives for a few years. Someone correct me if that's wrong. I don't see much difference, really. I had thought that checking the box on the form means the clock starts ticking from that point in case the broken marriage option is contested; not to count back two years. I guess I still really don't understand it very well.

So in any case, the problems didn't start in February with Jon hanging out in bars. That may have been when the general public found out, but apparently it's been going on a long time, maybe years!

Since I wasn't a regular viewer, I can't tell you how long ago this video was shot -- maybe somebody else knows?

But assuming they were sharing a house but living separately, as it might seem, that might count.

And, restating again, Kate is LYING when she says she's going to be doing this alone. They both stated that they would be taking turns in the house.

She is not lying. When she will be there with the kids, Jon won't be...thus the alone part.

I think she really, really wanted it to work, and realized at this time it wasn't. It's sad, but it is what it is, and they aren't the first people to repeat their vows only to find out it was too late.

(wedding vows) I think that is exactly what it was. I think she was sincere during those vows. I remember being a bit shocked at her saying she would try to treat him better etc. during those vows. She seemed way more into him than he was her. She even asked him for a kiss when they were dancing.

I don't think she ever thought he would leave her. As I have said, kate is nothing compared to my sister. She's been married 30+ years now and we all marvel at how he has stayed. They have 4 kids and I do not think she thinks he would ever leave her either. I think she felt like he was locked in at kid #3. She said together forever a lot during those vows. I think there was big trouble even back then. And it is MO that the vows were not deceptive--I think maybe at that point they were really trying and then once the book tour happened and he was at home and so unhappy, I think it all snow-balled on them very quickly. And very quickly they changed and very quickly they did not know who each other was anymore.

I also believe it would have had the same ending with or w/o a show.

I agree that this is what she was meaning when she said "alone".

they've taken over everything.

I said it the other day .. there's a 70-something couple at church who is incensed at the whole thing. they'd never heard of Jon & Kate before the last week or so, and now they know more than they'd ever want to know because as Alice said, "they're EVERYWHERE. I turn on the morning news, there they are .. I turn on the internet, and there they are. It's CRAZY." She was all fired up tonight. LOL.

I TOTALLY think it will happen. And you don't think that will cause more problems between jon & kate?

Picture this: he will get a girlfriend pg and then Kate won't want him to bring the new child over to "her" kids' house. I can see it now......

I also think if a girl is wanting to date him, he better be practicing birth control and not relying on her to.............she may want to get pg on purpose! ($$$)

I totally agree with you about this. How dare she talk to People about how the children reacted, that is NONE of the public's business. This will backlash on both Jon and Kate one day. Those children will look back on this time and wonder why things had to be played out on TV, People, and everywhere else . This disgusts me.

She does it because she is addicted to attention no matter the cost or no matter at whose expense. She is loving palying the "poor me perfect mother, lazy husband left me" "I'm such a good mother, I held Cara like a baby when she cried"

I swear that woman must have a running dialogue in her head while she is doing anything thinking how she will sound telling it to the media or to the camera while she is sitting on the couch.

I hope no one particularly takes offense to this... but..

I am so sick of people posting that they aren't going to watch this "train wreck" anymore (yet they continue to post about gossip stories, etc). LOL You are only supporting the phenomenon.... as long as there is something to talk about-- and threads like this continue (which I don't mind a bit-- ill be watching the show too).... then the paparazzi have a reason to keep up with both Jon & Kate. Some of you wish the paparazzi would leave them alone-- but i find a ton of paparazzi photos here (and i don't mind seeing them either). If you are so anti this family being in the limelight... so anti the show, anti TLC... why not just move on from threads like this, send a little prayer their way, and let it be!?

As long as people are talking... there will certainly be cameras in their faces. Why? Because inquiring minds want to know... (even if you say you don't). If you weren't interested in this "train wreck"... you wouldnt be spending so much time reading through pages and pages of J&K gossip. Hence.... giving those reporters something to report about.

For the record, I will continue to watch the show... and im not saying I wont tune into the drama.

Why is the "main-stream, ie non-tabloid" media treating these people with kid gloves? I would like to see Al Roker interview Kate and or Jon the way he interviewed Spencer and Heidi. I want to see the look on Kates face when he says directly to her "are you proud of this? Are you proud of what your doing to your kids? Are you proud that you have sold their entire little lives out for money? What are you going to do with your life when this ends?"

That is what I want to hear. I want to see them squirm with blank faces while trying to think what to say because the PR person didn't prepare for them to be sabatoged by the weather man.

I also remember thinking at the time that Kate was saying they would be "together forever" way to many times, almost like she was trying to convince herself. We can all be blind to what is going on in our own lives, especially when the obvious is so painful.

anything I've seen from season 5, other than the first episode, has pretty much been on morning news or reports on the computer. I haven't actually watched an entire show from start to finish. I did watch most of the OCC show, but not the JK8 version.

so maybe that does put me at step 2... not watching whole episodes

What is this Blind Gossip website? They are hinting that either Deanna or Kate is pregnant? Is this site usually right?
