So now it's Jon with Cara & Mady but Kate and the tups are away? This is really getting ridiculous for the show. I'm assuming the twins had to return to school maybe? Am I the only one who thinks the kids must be confused as heck with Mom in one place, Dad in another?

Lots of parents travel for business and aren't always together, I don't find that to be so weird.

ok - am I the only one that thought the episodes last night were taped BEFORE the fall out? My husband agreed - we think they were taped originally & then they went back & rededited so you didn't see Jon with Kate on the couch - even though he's clearly sitting there....they got a long WAAAAAYYYY too good for them not to be taped before the scandel...

Yeah, I was wondering why the camera kept cutting to only one of them at a time, when they were noticeably sitting there together.

I also noticed on the upcoming People cover, Jon makes sure his wedding band is visible.

Yep - the kids are in school uniforms - I'd sure be ticked if my siblings got to stay @ the beach while I had to go back to school...

I wonder how things are being handled at school? Ya know kids are talking - teasing them at recess - they'd HAVE to be....

Maybe Kate wanted to take the tups on an outing together since Cara went on the Utah trip with Jon, and Maddy went to the San Diego trip with Kate.

I meant in light of what is going on. When Kate is home, Jon apparently leaves. When Kate travels, Jon is home with the kids. Now the tups are in NC while the twins are with Jon at home. That's weird to me and I'm sure confusing to them.

mom with one set of kids on vacation while dad is at home with the other set in school is not the norm, though ... even in families where parents travel for work.

I found that to be weird, too. When one parent is home, the other one leaves. Jon seemed to make a point of mentioning it when he said (to the effect of), "There will always be ONE parent home with the kids. When Kate's gone, I'll be here, when I'm gone, she'll be here." Seems like a planned situation to me.

Sorry I do no have the link I am rushing around this morning, if it was not posted US online has a new post, part of an article regarding Kate's trip to NC. The other guests are talking, Kate does not come out smelling like oranges. The guest use their full names, there is also a quote with a full name of a friend of Jon's brother in People magazine. I am sure all the Kate luvers will not believe a word. I on the other hand, most certainly do.

LOL! The fiance was 17 in 1995 and is now 33. Hmm... I was 18 in 1995 and just celebrated my 32nd birthday. Somebody's not checking their facts...

I am sure all the Kate luvers will not believe a word. I on the other hand, most certainly do.

I'm not either a Kate of Jon lover. I listen to what comes out of their mouths, decide for myself, and pictures usually catch my attention. I haven't a clue what is true and what isn't anymore, no matter where I read it. I'm less likely to believe the junkier mags that pay..but at this point I know longer even know who is paying. I prefer facts, and those are hard to come by.
As for 'supposing', I suppose Mady and Cara are home because they have school, I suppose Kate is away because Kate and Jon don't seem to be getting along in the same house right now. I suppose some of the things going on are because of TLC, and some are because of Jon and Kate. Only time will tell what is/was the truth.

PS. I may or may not ask/tell my children not to get me wet at the pool .. BUT, I do not tell them they're dead meat if they do. I usually threaten to make them sit on the sidelines in time out.

I also believe the exchange at the pool did happen .. given Mady's attitude before, I wouldn't doubt she said that. She's said similar on national TV.

I love the nonorganic food choices from the past, she was a Cheeto's kind a gal. And always going for the "playa" type who is younger. Boy, I am can just imagine. I have a feeling an unauthorized biography might be in the works. It will surely put Britney's to shame. Thanks for the link

As far as Kate's ex...it is an interesting read but what Kate was like when she was 18 is really not an issue for me. People do change and magazines are not going to sell if they are not bashing her or Jon for something.

The article on US about Kate ignoring the kids is not a "horrible mother" scenario to me. I tell my kids they "better not splash me or else" sometimes too. I also don't spend every moment at the beach or pool entertaining my kids, so her ignoring them is a magazine sensationalizing the trip to sell more mags.

These people cannot do anything without it being a "story".

I am not setting him apart, in fact I think it is pretty bad that now that Kate and Jon are having their troubles, everyone is coming out with a story. What was the point of the ex-fiance coming out now? What's next? The laundryman telling everyone that Kate demands only Tide for her clothes? If we are going to judge Jon and Kate for their public lives then we should also take a closer look to these people who come out to the tabloids about their relationship to the couple. How does the ex-fiance coming out have anything to do with the situation? I am no Kate supporter but now the tabloids are going for people who knew them in their past and now it seems a lot of sordid information is thrown out there. She was a kid when she was engaged to this guy and it is most likely this engagement was a huge mistake.
