No, I'm not saying they shouldn't charge. I'm saying they shouldn't lie or tell a story full of "untruths" as Kate would say.

They can spend their money however they wish, but don't go around selling your sob story and looking for handouts when you have money to buy a million dollar home, a pool, designer clothes and shoes. Tell it like it is then say "But look at us now! We are doing great...." She ends the talk of them struggling and Jon being unemployed. It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Actually, that house doesn't give them that much privacy if you think about it. If the Paparazzi are able to get shots of them in the driveway and yard, then is it really that private?

It seems more out of the way. If the paps come on there private property then they should have them arrested. Where as in there old house They lived in area with lot of other house where the paps could sit in the road and there was nothing they could do about it. It seems li ke this house sits far off the road

in the midst of all the tabloids, blogs, and other questionable information that's out there about the Gosselins, there are some things that can be backed up with legitimate proof.

It seems more out of the way. If the paps come on there private property then they should have them arrested. Where as in there old house They lived in area with lot of other house where the paps could sit in the road and there was nothing they could do about it. I thought that this house was far off from the road also, but they seem to be getting some great shots. It makes me wonder if it is all set up so that they get great shots. I have seen the ariel shots and I just can not see how the paps are getting such great shots. It is either an inside job or they are on the property. It just does not make sense.

You have me confused..have you been to a recent church engagement where Kate was looking for handouts and talked about still struggling? I think it's been a long time. Designer clothes? Others have mentioned where the clothes are from, I didn't think they were designer. You are right, if she is still pleading poor, saying she is still struggling and spending money on designer clothes, that is not right. However, I don't think that is the case. If she isn't pleading poor and the church advertised there would be a love offering, I don't get the problem . If the church gives a set amount to attend I assume it is also a money making venture for the church in most cases, so if you don't want to spend the money, don't go.

Those high powered lenses can get a great picture from a very long way aways. There is only just so much they can do to stop it, but at least they can't get close to the kids physically. They used to take pics of Jackie Kennedy on an island, and they wren't on the island or the immediate area. This is a lot more private than a house right up on the curb.

The thing is, the house is not on a curb. They have 23 acres and the house is back off a long driveway. I know they have those awesome lens, but to get the side shots and all. It just sounds a little too fishy.

My daughter is a photographer and she has paid more for many of her lenses than she did for the actual camera she owns. I see what she captures and I can just imagine what the paparazzi pays for their lenses and how far away they can be. Have you ever seen the size of some of the rag mag lenses?

Nope, nothing fishy..it's amazing how the lenses work.

Well, at least those women look older, at least in their 30s. The brunette looks like she could even be in her 40s.

I'm going off of what a friend told me about a recent speaking engagement she attended. I did not attend, nor would I attend. I would rather spend my $35 dollars on something else.

On some blogs they found out that her footwear was in the $300-$500 range. I would call that designer. LOFT is not designer, but it isn't cheap either.

If they have a million dollar home what do you think the mortage on that would be?? If no one is working well Kate just started working, Don't you think money would be tight

If they have a mortgage it would depend on their down payment they might have paid in full. The home might be owned by their corporation ,Jon and Kate are involved in many income producing endevors. The home being a large part of one of those, the home might be completely written off if it is owned by their corportaiton. A portion of the corporate earnings comes from the tv show, the home is intrinsic to the show. I am sure they have very good tax lawyers and CPAs who are minimizing their tax burden as much as possible. They also derive quite a bit of money from speaking at not for profits, ie churches as well as getting a substantial amount of cash from attendees of these speaking engagements which should be documented . They also recieve so many donations of "things" which also need to be accounted for, for tax purposes. Trust me they are not doing the short form for their return. They might not even have a mortage at all.

She looks to have an older build (and outfit) than a typical 23 year old. Besides, she looks pretty pale (and a little less "firm") for someone who's been sunbathing at the Gosselins.
