Oh, puleaseee. Fraud LOL. When we have speakers at our church, their income seldom plays into it (unless they are a missionary and we are trying to help provide a living). We've invited them and announced they will get a free will offering. Sometimes those offerings are good, and sometimes they are not. If people want to give to a speaker, that is their choice.

Yeah, he got that info over the phone without giving his name LOL. Everyone wants of piece of the pie.

It's hard to know what to believe and what not to. If they are ripping the public off, then it's going to catch up to them at one point or another anyways.

Even for the money, I'm not sure I would ever be willing to put my private life or at least a big portion of my private life, out in public like that. I guess it paid their bills tho and those kids will hopefully be well cared for.

I'll stick to my own, middle class life for now. I much rather have my own secrets.

I write a blog, with my personal JK8 opinion ... it just didn't get the same exposure as that guy. I didn't like the little bit of attention it did get. Not even a little bit.

I don't think money is tight. It has been said that they make between $50,000 and 100,000 an episode. And then there are the profits from the book sales and Kate's new ventures with walmart and some other people. I know they have to pay others but really I don't think they are hurting.

You are too nice! Many people say I'm the "mom" of whatever group we're in. Just like to see everyone taken care of. Thank you for the kind words

On HLN they just said that TLC said that they only film 2 hours a day 2 days a week. I don't think I believe that. And they said that if a kid does not want to be filmed they are not, I don't think I believe that either

I can't believe that's possible....They filmed on the drive to Disney - that alone was more than 2 hours! Going to the zoo or to see Thomas or the Elmo show or whatever, any of the outings I would have to guess is more than two hours.

I feel BEYOND sorry for those kids - 'cause not only did they loose an Aunt & Uncle - who Jodi seemed fun with her cooking projects & yep I'm a bad parent that gives gum to 3 yr olds (but you already knew that!) But they also lost their cousins...

That's the part I feel bad about - if the kids aren't able to see each other. Regardless of how I feel about my family, I always make it a point to let the boys choose who they're going to see and when they're going to see them (within reason of course!). I'm not going to force them to go to someone's house but I'm also not going to cut them out of their lives because of something that's happened between me and that person (yes I do have these types of problems in my family). My dad has chosen to his DS4 ONCE - at my wedding when he was 9 months old. He's NEVER seen my DS2. Could he? Heck yes. Had he driven the hour to see him, I would have gladly opened the door but that never happened (and so it's "fair" we can't/couldn't go to their house because they're smokers and as DS4 would say, he'd "get dead" ) I would never cut my kids off from family unless it was something awful like jail time bad. You can't replace family - trust me. I've spent YEARS trying to.

Ya know someone else mentioned it and I was begging to wounder myself then I saw the picture of her in her swimsuit cover up and well.

I've heard of these pictures a couple of times but haven't seen them. Do you happen to have a link??

I think her new job is working on her personality and being softer to everyone so she looks like a victim. That is going to be a lot of work for her. She should get paid the big bucks for that acting gig.
