If they have a million dollar home what do you think the mortage on that would be?? If no one is working well Kate just started working, Don't you think money would be tight

If you can't afford the miilion dollar home without asking churches for money, why didn't you buy a home you could afford?

This topic burns me up more than exploiting 8 kids on TV for money. And yes, it will catch up with them, taking money from much less wealthy people (the show has been on for 2 years, with specials before that) for their own gain under the name of God.

But they people who gave are at fault as well, and I want to smack them too. I hope they are not still collecting money from churches. It's unconscionable.

Well, then, if you can show me a link where she is pleading poor and getting churches to give her love offering money to help with the bills, I'll agree with you that she should not spend that money on shoes.

If you can't, well, I don't want anyone telling me how to spend my money and I sure won't be telling her how to spend hers.

On some blogs they found out that her footwear was in the $300-$500 range. I would call that designer. LOFT is not designer, but it isn't cheap either.

Loft is not cheap I only shop there but looks like Kate is getting it for free!!!!!

The shoes she had on a the b-day party were from Ann Taylor not loft. Then when she was sitting on the couch for the interview she had on Jimmy Choo shoes which would cost more than $500.00.... I am sure those were free too!!!!!!

There is no way really to tell if it was or wasn't but it looked him say size same height. What would they have to gain by finding a fake Jon?? I would think if it wasn't him he would be deny it and saying hey I wasn't there I was here and so and so can back that up

Is school still in session? I know our schools were in two extra days (until yesterday) due to the ice storm days, otherwise they would have been out last Friday.

I live in CT. I know the schools up north are not getting out until June!!!!!!

That's what I thought, they don't look like college chicks! The one in her 40's coudn't be Deanna, this lady was a little flabby. And the other lady looked at least mid 30's to me...

If they have a mortgage it would depend on their down payment they might have paid in full. The home might be owned by their corporation ,Jon and Kate are involved in many income producing endevors. The home being a large part of one of those, the home might be completely written off if it is owned by their corportaiton. A portion of the corporate earnings comes from the tv show, the home is intrinsic to the show. I am sure they have very good tax lawyers and CPAs who are minimizing their tax burden as much as possible. They also derive quite a bit of money from speaking at not for profits, ie churches as well as getting a substantial amount of cash from attendees of these speaking engagements which should be documented . They also recieve so many donations of "things" which also need to be accounted for, for tax purposes. Trust me they are not doing the short form for their return. They might not even have a mortage at all.

I agree, Kate is very shrewd (notice I didn't say shrew!) and I'm sure did her homework regarding corporations, taxes, etc. Plus TLC had to build a set in part of the house so who knows what that could mean, if they pay part of the mortgage since it's work related?

She looks to have an older build (and outfit) than a typical 23 year old. Besides, she looks pretty pale (and a little less "firm") for someone who's been sunbathing at the Gosselins.

A mortgage on a $1.1 million dollar home would be about $7,000 to $9,000 a month for a 30 year mortgage. This includes the property taxes and home owners insurance. It could be a little more or less depending on their interest rate and their actual cost of taxes and insurance. But this gives you an idea of what they are paying monthly for the house.

That's assuming they didn't put any $ down though.

The outfit that she had on at the b-day party from Loft did not cost anywhere near $200.00. I have that sweatshirt, it was $39.50 and the jeans too so I would say it was around one hundred. Her sunglasses were from Loft too!!!!!

If I was Jon I would move heaven and earth to prove I wasn't cheating. He's not fighting it at all. I think he said once very meekly I'm not cheating. In my opinion I would move heaven and earth to prove it. Then with this new photo with these ladies they might be fan but he really needs to think about what he is doing. How it looks.

That's only if you care about what other people think. If the people you feel it's important to know if he was or was not cheating knew the truth who cares what the public thinks.
