On some blogs they found out that her footwear was in the $300-$500 range. I would call that designer. LOFT is not designer, but it isn't cheap either.

Well, then, if you can show me a link where she is pleading poor and getting churches to give her love offering money to help with the bills, I'll agree with you that she should not spend that money on shoes.

If you can't, well, I don't want anyone telling me how to spend my money and I sure won't be telling her how to spend hers.

the top pic, of Jon? taken the day the show aired on TLC (Memorial Day) ... for some reason, that strikes me as a little odd. I don't know why, but it does. LOLOL.

Well, they don't seem especially young. And there's Kate w/ Mr. Grey. Who is protecting the kids if they are all out together and he is *her* bodyguard. Do they have 8 other bodyguards around or does Grey cover everybody? I think it's weird.

she may not even be buying the shoes with her own money .. she may have an arrangement with Ann Taylor similar to the one they have with Gymboree. It might be a promotional deal. who knows?

I can not stand perezhilton. He, to me, is such scum! but I do believe that they are getting paid and if so, shame on them. They are only hurting their family. Not only Jon and Kate's but they have kids also.

Unlike some players in the Jon & Kate inner circle, Kevin Kreider, and sister-in-law Jodie want the media to pony up for their insider secrets. Yesterday, the Aunt and Uncle of the eight Gosselin spawn were on the Early Show, where they scolded Jon and Kate for continuing the show and for putting money over the well being of their kids.

For that 15 minutes of fame, it is speculated that they were paid $30,000 and they are looking for other media outlets who would do the same.

Wow. We smell a hypocrite or two.

They should really be ashamed of themselves. This is their family they are exploiting. Family doesn't do that to one another, no matter what the price tag.

Just thought of something after looking at the TMZ pix.

So I guess TLC will continue the "trips" episodes from last season. I don't know about you, but I got really tired of seeing them go on trip after trip. And I really hope we don'thave anymore "Kate packing" episodes. I don't like packing for my own trips, I really don't want to see anyone else do it for theirs.

I know I quoted this about 10 pages ago...but I for one liked the trip shows!

I think they have the two bodyguards there and a babysitter plus Kate there. But I think he is *her* bodyguard, maybe they don't have a bodyguard per kid because Kate is the "bigger star" and needs one for only her, she does travel more, i guess.

With Jon I think the one blond with the short shorts looks young but the other women looks older maybe the blonds mom and they came over to meet him? He's drinking and not with his family who seem to be on vacation at any rate. I wonder if he is having a mid life crisis or something.

They seem to be spending a lot of time apart in any case!

To me, it seems that even if Jodi and Kevin weren't being paid, they should of stayed far away from the interviews. Airing family business like that isn't right, it doesn't help anything really. I find it a tad hypocritical that they scold Jon and Kate about their family BUT can go on television themselves and talk about them. If Jodie and Kevin were really concerned, then they should discuss it with the parents privately and not air it all over television.
