Okay I feel left out. When I hit the link, I get "site unavailable". What did I miss? Also I saw on one of the entertainment shows that Kate called the police on friday about the hordes of people taking pictures outside the house. They didn't say what happened to the photographers.

hmmm .. it was a tabloid (I assume) site claiming Sarah Palin called Jon Gosselin last week, offering advice about the media.

apparently, people were taking pictures while they were filming and Kate called the police. what was different about that than any other day?

the dress wasn't very flattering, either. LOL

Oh that is that horrid dress from last week's pics (or was it this past weekend?). Ick, anyway, it looks like the built in bra went haywire or her strapless bra slipped. Just horrible looking. Except fot the color. Again, I think she looks good in that coral/pink color.

You know, if Kate took a sip of the water and then passed the bottle to Mady, there still would have been time, there's a decent chunk of time before they start filming after she screws the cap back on, Mady could have taken a quick sip of water. I assume she's old enough to drink from a bottle without needing a cup. Or if she was able to get a bottle, why couldn't she ask for one for Mady as well?

I feel bad for these kids, especially Cara and Mady. I wonder what they are going through in school, with this stuff all over the place. They're getting to the age where kids can be really mean, and it can't be easy for them to have this family drama all out in the open, and then having to face their peers day in and day out.

If she had given a sip to Mady, all the other little kids would have wanted some, too. In fact, after Mady said she wanted a drink, you could hear the little kids saying that they also wanted a drink.

How come they all didn't want a drink after Kate had one? If that is the thought process, why does she ask for a drink to be given to her, and then drink it and then put it away. Then after Mady almost crying tells her how really really mean she is, she halfheartedly attempts to find the water for her (but alas, it's too late..they must film)?

Again, the water is the minor issue. The clear order of priorities is what is so shocking.

The interviewer on CBS did NOT ask if Mady liked her Mom or Dad better!!! She asked her (Mady) if she thought her Mom was a good Mom (or doing a good job...forgot which) and Mady hesitated and finally said Yes...but I like Daddy better.

HA, my kids would do the same thing, but thats cuz Im the hard _ _ _ and dh is the easy going one.

Does anyone know if these free items, the trips, and stuff are gifted to TLC or the Gosselins? I was wondering who had to claim them.

I am assuming that the items that the Gosselins get are gifted and it is taken out of the advertising budget for the company. In other words we have been watching half an hour commercials.

My second thought is how Jon and Kate keep saying that their kids aren't working. Well I can see how they first came upon this line. When the tups were babies people were wanting to interview them so. Let face it we have been know to drag our kids to whatever we have to do and the kids just have to be kids and aren't expected to do anything. So if J&K feel like the show is their job then they are just dragging the kids along. And their wouldn't be a show if there was never a Jon & Kate. But now that the kids are bigger and sometimes are asked question... Then again how long have the had 1 of the kids say " on this episode of Jon & Kate plus 8"?

Ok well maybe I haven't expressed myself well with that. Hopefully you understand what I'm saying.

I thought it was interesting that on the episode last night they showed Jon doing the craft project. On the American Chopper on it looked like he was gone for the day.
She also addressed that no they did not have helmets on, it is not illegal, and they were only going 4 mph.

Why is everyone carrying on about the whole water issue? Big deal..it was a water..WOOHOO..get over it!

because it was mean and cruel and Kate is mean, poor Mady was dying of thirst and her mother was mean...blah blah blah...;)

The statement from Kate was "so in your face" to the viewers. It upset me, because it was true and wasn't true.

Go ahead and ride without a helmet, because it isn't illegal, but my feelings are "if you are a parent of children, you protect yourself from physical harm."

Sure Kate, you may have went down your driveway 4 mph and I know she was saying "4 mph" as a off hand comment, but when you left the gates of your drive way, you were riding on the fender of a motorcycle, illegally, going way faster than 4 mph.

It sure is wierd how Jon and Kate are doing damage control during their couch interviews.

Maybe Jon will start hanging out with Paul Jr. I don't think they live to far away from each other. Kate-Mikey should run for the hills if you think he is your new BFF.

Actually I didn't even blink twice about them not wearing helmets because it isn't illegal in PA. Crazy rule (or non rule), I know! They just changed it about 4-5 years ago and people are zooming around all over the place at 60 mph without helmets on now. But I can see why she mentioned it because I am sure many people in other states do not know the motorcycle rules in PA.

It's all about what Kate wants. Last year on "Cara's Day" she refused to go ice skating because she is a mother of 8 and cannot afford to be hurt. Quite frankly IMO it was because she is not sporty and judt didn't want to do it so she got on her high horse and claimed she "can't" do it. Now suddenly it's ok to go on a scooter and motorcycle without a helmet because it's not illegal? Guess she wasn''t too concerned about being down an out and unable to care for her children if she was hurt- then again since she's not the children's main caregiver anymore I guess it just doesn't matter of she is physically capable of caring for them or not.

I 100% agree that she should not have been riding on the fender, but I didn't find her statement "in your face" it was a fact and stated as such. As far as how fast they were driving...yes, I'm sure it was faster then 4 mph, but having driven a car on "their" road I know how bumpy and narrow the road is, so it wouldn't surprise me one bit that they were truly not going very fast at all. I realize that she is a parent, but I don't feel that she should have had to wear a helmet just because she is. Should she not get in a car, where she could be killed in an accident? No, you can't stop living just because you are a mom. The whole thing seemed so innocent to me. I truly feel that Kate is being judged harshly for everything she does and that she could at this point really do nothing that wouldn't be seen as negative. Jon, I really felt sorry for him in the beginning, but now I find it kind of repulsive that he can say he is all about jis kids, but in the next sentence he says he just wants to be Jon. He never is just Jon anymore. I'm sorry, you have 8 kids...you gave up the right to be just Jon. He wanted the motorcycle so he could get away and be just Jon.....

Before it was the law in NY, I didn't give it another thought. Just felt sorry for those who were stuck wearing helmets. Now I'm older and wiser and I would never ride without a helmet.
It doesn't matter what Kate does or says..there is nothing she can do that is right. I'm glad I don't know about who is judging me.

And he also supposedly bought a condo in Utah so he could go snowboard and be "just Jon."

I used to feel kind of sorry for Jon too, but he was so obnoxious in the OCC shows. How many times did he have to say he needs to get away and be himself? I was rolling my eyes at his comments way more than Kate's. With all his snarky comments, to me he came across as really immature and like he was purposely trying to take advantage of all the bad Kate press and be the charming, "Mr. Mom" "poor me" innocent one.
